GIOVANNI STROPPA men did once again, what the senior team couldn’t, as they earn three points at Bergamo.

Matchday 3 in the Primavera saw AC Milan travel to Bergamo to face Atalanta. Less than a week from the senior team faced them to a 1-1 draw, the youngsters have reached full points.

Coming off with six points to the match, the Rossoneri added three more and with that collected all the nine points that were possible so far.

While the senior team have been suffering from bad luck in those days, the Primavera’s midfielder Jordan Pedrocchi shows that they have some luck in their side with a goal 92nd minutes to make it 1-0.

“We are extremely pleased with the victory today. To win on this pitch and against Atalanta is never easy,” coach Stroppa said.

“This is a positive moment, we’re doing a great start to the season and everything must go this way. Today the team has played good football, the only goal came late on but during the match AC Milan has created more opportunities than them.

This is a very positive win that makes only good. Atalanta’s young group are very strong, and this win will make some noise inside the team.

“I see the boys very happy and motivated, I am happy with the good group,” Giovanni added.

“Now we wait for the return of Michelangelo Albertazzi that will surely be disappointed by the result last night against Hungary, but it was a great World Cup. He’s a guy who can do a lot for us.”
