Report: Milan reach an agreement with Chelsea over Van Ginkel

MARCO VAN GINKEL will join Milan on loan from Chelsea if he wants to but they will be no buy-out clause in the deal.

Milan have been searching for a midfielder to add depth and quality to the squad of Filippo Inzaghi. The Rossoneri are light in this department as Keisuke Honda is viewed as a forward and Riccardo Montolivo is out of action until December.

The first option of Milan was to sign Adrien Rabiot from Paris Saint-Germain but with the French side asking for nearly €20m for a 19-year-old whose contract expires next year, they turned their intention to the cheaper Marco Van Ginkel.

Liverpool, Spurs reject Milan’s loan moves for Borini, Soldado
Galliani: “Torres is a great striker, Van Ginkel is possible”

Van Ginkel suffered from a knee injury last season and managed just four appearances for Chelsea in the 2013/14 season but he’s still considered top talent by many and Nigel De Jong has reportedly spoken very highly of the 21-year-old when asked about him by the Milan management. According to Sky, a deal between Chelsea and Milan has been reached.

Gianluca Di Marzio states that Chelsea have agreed to let Van Ginkel join Milan on loan but there will be no buyout clause in the deal, meaning that the Dutchman will be at Stanford Bridge in the 2015/16 season. Sky claims that now it’s up to the player to decide whether he wants to make the move or not as he could decide to stay at Chelsea and try to impress Jose Mourinho. Benfica are also interested in him but he doesn’t consider this option seriously and prefers staying or Milan.

Van Ginkel’s arrival would put an end to Milan’s pursue of the likes of Rabiot and Blerim Dzemaili. The fans online are furious with Milan’s decision to take the player without a buy-out loan, claiming the Rossoneri have become a feeder club.

Annoying that the could’nt get the option to buy at the end of the season. Milan need to stop these loan deals and start actually making transfers.

gaushow

they wont buy him anyway…

it would be very expensive..

So, nothing changes

The toilet cleaner at Casa Milan is probably on loan…

Haykinx

Milan is really breaking my heart, All we do now is help another team make their player better and then we let them go…SMH

Milan fan

How low has Milan fallen,to be a feeder club to the big clubs. Sad,sad stuff. Berlusconi SELL THE CLUB. Why aren’t the fans in Italy doing something ? Are they not angry with how low has Milan fallen ? What is their problem ? I bet Berlu is paying the leaders in Curva Sud some small cash just not to create problems. Juve didn’t win for 6 games they set the stadium on fire,Inter wanted new players they made a mess and they got new star players. Fans of Milan ? Well fans of Milan are just happy with, free old… Read more »

its really hard….. This guy will never play in chelsea 1st team he will only be used to fund money for future purchases At an high price. Congrate we are covered in center mid field for now.

NeoCortex

Wow, we were Milan, the most successful club everyone dreamed to play for, and now we are Milan the club without ambititon that loan and build the young players of the actual big clubs…

Chonax

Seriously???

The reason why Milan fans aren’t rioting is because Berlusconi brought them from the brinks of bankruptcy to the worlds best team. I really dislike Berlusconi but it’s easy to forget the good that he’s done for the club. The ridiculous thing is the management (eg Galliani) for awful transfer negotiations such as paying €10+ million for matri, getting players such as constant, traore, taiwo, essien. They also wasted a lot of money over the seedorf situation, as milan are going to be sued plus they have to pay the rest of his 2 year salary. The icing on the… Read more »

Thanks for the loan milan. Ensure you use him good and always. We would be needing him next season. Ac Milan, one of the best clubs to ensure your youths get proper football and return more experienced!.

Ouch!

I am astonished that the Milan fans based in Italy are doing nothing! B&G must die! This is the only way they will leave the club. Cos they are not leaving any other way. That is the sad reality.

We all agree that this wasn’t the best deal we hoped for. But for god’s sake look at the cirtumcances we are in. We don’t play in the champions league, why should someone waste their years when they can fight for a starting place in one of the best clubs lately. I still see the positives from this deal , we can use Van Ginkel to get some points and get to the CL phase for the next year and then we will actually earn some cash to hopefully purchase him completely or just find a replacement. Its not like… Read more »

Well as long as we have Cristante I’m cool afterall we still have Mastalli and more youth coming up. When Montolivo returns his playing time will be reduced. So if he performs well and the player is pleased with Milan the the player will want to Stay. So good biz as long as we use him.

Gani

Milan will never be the Milan as we know if Galliani still remain at post, now that Berlusconi is not able to bring money to buy a top player , Galliani now don’t know what to do, it’s really sad Milan is being disgrace by. Galliani with awfull transfere policy, all what he love doing is to interact with media and fans for everyone to know that he is big man, shame he cannot just turn things around as a chief executive

Izac

great, so we are just developing other teams players now? What is this..

Kwabena Adu

Berlusconi and Galliani has to go,until then don’t expect anything exceptional..they have nothing good for the club. The fans should protest against the management to show their grievances

saim

“You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the Villain” Im sure many of us are familiar with that quote and it perfectly defines the situation of Berlusconi, he was our savior back then but now he has overstayed his welcome by not doing anything to save this club and the direction in which it is heading, if his intent was not to invest any money Into Milan then by all means he should have sold the club already he would actually be doing the club a favor but instead he has held onto… Read more »

The only positive is that we get a quaility young player for a season and he could help us to a champions league spot which in turn makes us a more attractive looking club in terms of signing other top players because all quaility players want champions league football and would turn us down if we’r not in it, we can’t live in the past where players would often join because we’r Ac Milan, but even if we do qualify next year a doubt laurel and hardy (aka Berlusconi and galiani) will sign anyone anyway

Tyorex

Stop gap measures….thats all we’ve been doing since our golden age was over. Smh

lentini

just heard that Rami is being offered to Monaco to fund torroflop’s move to milan, SHEER MADNESS IF IT IS TRUE.!!!

Jibola

I’ve seen it too and if it happens, i don’t think anything good will happen to Milan again until BnG leave the club because sacrifising a player who sacrifised his own money to get to Milan for a washed up useless 30 year old striker is the biggest sin against humanity.

dejan10

Whaaaaaat? They want to get rid of the man who had to pay out of his own pocket to stay at Milan?

Kwabena Adu

Champions League qualification wouldn’t be that easy looking at clubs like Juventus,Roma,Napoli,Fiorentina and even Inter which in my opinion are better than Milan in terms of quality

Abubakar KaKa

I like d idea of bringing Van gienkil Good signing!

Jibola

Any reasonable player should never come to Milan until BnG leave the club. Milan is done

News on Torres: the player would have given his willingness to move to Milanello, but just outright and with the same contract he has with Chelsea (two years to 7 million euro net per season). source: translated from milannews.it

setansiluman

to be honest, we don’t need V.Ginkel, we already have Poli, De Jong, Saponara, Cristante, (Montolivo), Essien, Muntari, even Honda and Modic.
So, loan V.Ginkel with no option to buy isn’t that bad.

What we need to do is buy Cerci and a top centre forward, i prefer Martinez or Damiao than Torres.

Still hope Galliani do something unpredictable at the final hours (like Ibra and Robinho).

Some Guy

If we have no money we should go for Chicharito, just two season’s ago he was fantastic off the bench, and he is very similar to Inzaghi, so he could be taught by him. If not, then we all must remember Pazzini>Torres,Borini,Soldado etc. I hope that Galliani remembers this, and instead uses the money on Cerci. Plus, what happened with Paloschi? Don’t we still have 50% of him? If I’m not mistaken, he also had 13 goals last season, the same as Destro, so we could also think about bringing him to Milan permanently, either now or in January. Finally,… Read more »

I don’t know if you will agree, galliani should at least prove his loyalty to the club by financing the club that has made him what he his today, galliani can’t say he doesn’t have up to 50 million dollar or pound in his private account. At least he can buy them and own them and sell them in future, at least he should help belusconi during this difficult time, not just wasting time on useless transfer that is disgrachng his good reputation that he has built for years

milan_indo

Its only in your dream dude

Milanisti since 98

Damn.. Galliani changed the club name to AC Mi-Loan

flawless

Fans! Please this will not solve the issue, let the Vice president tell us their problem, maybe the fans could help them out by contributing one euro. So that they will stop this loan issue. They know their problem

arya

Lopez; De Sciglio-Rami-Alex-Armero; Montolivo-De Jong-Van Ginkel; Honda-Torres-Menez

Poli for Montolivo as he’s injured. If Torres turns out bad then Honda-Menez-El Shaarawy/Niang

lentini

and bench SES92???? why?

millllan

We spent nothing this transfer window. After finishing 8th. We sold our star man and spent nothing.

arya

He’s a really good player but needs to show it. I’m sure he will because when Balotelli came he lost his touch. Now I hope with eyes back on him he will flourish again. But for now I would like to see Menez start though I am an El Shaarawy fan.

Radagast

Galliani: – “Cairo (Torino President) said that I have short arms, but he does not understand that these days I do not have arms,”

Where did all the money go? It’s hard to understand why we have the financial muscle of Albino Leffe?

We are doomed….hope van ginkel will push 4 stay in milan next season just like rami…forza milan

6t9

We r loosing our identity due to this stupid Galliani. Why should we give playing time with whom we dont have any future. Pls act like a Top Club Mgt. Stop acting like a mgt of a serie B team, Dont forget we r MILAN, most successful club in the world.

martinovic

i believe that the leaders of curva sud or milanisti in italy, have been bribed, shame on you all!!! You all can’t even protest for the evils done against our club, SHAME ON YOU!
