PABLO ARMERO had his Milan debut on Sunday evening & he’s looking to win over the LB role.
Milan were a total mess defensively against Valencia yesterday. Ignazio Abate, Daniele Bonera, Cristian Zapata, Michelangelo Albertazzi and even new signing Diego Lopez were far from impressive – especially in the first half – and the Los Che goals came from the Diavolo mistakes.
In the 71′ minute, Pablo Armero came off the bench to replace Albertazzi. The Colombian, who replaced Kevin Constant at Milan, made his debut and he’ll be looking to play often this year.
Inzaghi: “Milan played well but we know we must improve”
Highlights: Valencia 2-1 Milan
“I’m working to be at 100%. Physically I’m improving slowly,” Armero told the Milan Channel after the match at the Mestalla Stadium. “I’m a player that likes to use his speed, defend well and attack. My role is left full-back, with the national team and with my previous teams I played there and I like it in that role. It’s up to the coach to decide where I play. I like to start from the back. Coach Inzaghi knows how I play, he has seen me with other sides, I like to go forward but starting from the back.
“I’m training to be ready for both the defensive phase and in attack. We have to improve, give our all in every match and create a good group. This is the only way to win.” Armero will have a better chance to impress at the Trofeo TIM on Saturday.
Nastasic is a must, he’s young and can become a very great defender, something that we desperately need! He could be the missing pair up that we need to have a solid defense with either rami or Alex or whoever you chose~
Is he rumoured to us, or are you taking it out of thin air as a dream signing for us?
I totally agree with milan2280 he his very good and young and can link up well with either rami or alex
What about Rami-Bonucci pairing?
So many dreamers
daydreamers not in B&G current era u’ll see rami-bonucci or nastasic in our defend, apparently either of them aren’t available on loan or free agent cos milan is a freebis club for now,it hurts to see my beloved milan not able to seal a deal for a quality player which wasnt d case b4.
