STEPHAN EL SHAARAWY says he’d want to win the Scudetto with Milan and hopes to play with Kaka.
El Shaarawy is set to stay at Milan according to his agent who said again today that there are no chances he’ll be sent on loan this summer, and the player now says he’d like to play a greater role in next year.
Stephan played 28 games in all competitions last year and even coach Massimiliano Allegri admitted he didn’t believe that El Shaarawy would play so much. El Shaarawy targets more playing time and trophies.
Muntari: “I will be ready before January”
Pato: “I’ll stay until 2014, afterwards – who knows?”
“I expect to play a few more matches next season,” El Shaarawy told Sky.it. “We hope that we will be able to compete for the Scudetto and for the Champions League title next season. Juve had a great season and they intend to repeat it next season with some reinforcements. It will be tough to surpass Juve next year.
“But we have a great squad and we’ll do everything possible to win. I’m happy that Thiago Silva stayed at Milan. I’ve gotten along very well with everyone this year. I have a really good relationship with Antonini. It will be nice to see him again, just like with all the other teammates. My idol has always been Ricardo Kakà. I was also compared to him because of my playing style. One day I would like to play with Kakà at Milan.”
Milan had 7 forwards last season (including Maxi Lopez who arrived in January) – next season they’ll only have 5 which means there will be more space for El Shaarawy although the competition remains stiff.
Pls Alllegri, Elsharawy should be played as a trequatista as that is his natural position so that he can take Kaka’s role in the team.
Boateng, Momtolivo & Nocerino in the midfield.
huh? No its not…he’s a second striker…Cassano’s position
Your right we place the player who fits most as a trequartista as second striker than use a leftback as trequratista. And yeah another season with 10 strikers and no playmaker.
Ryan your very smart, just like Allegri. “milan dont need pirlo” Allegri you are a genius!!!!
That is why we have Montolivo this year with similar characteristics as Pirlo
We are talking about trequartista, and pirlo is a regista.
Also you shouldnt even write montolivo and pirlo in the same sentence.
I mentioned pirlo as an example of how smart allegri was to let him go and call him “useless” in milan in other words.
Even tho he is a quality player with lots to offer to the team I just cant see him getting room in the striking department even tho we have cut down from 7 to 5. The only way I see him playing more often for us is either if we get a lot of injuries in the striking department (am hoping not) or as a vice Kpb in the CAM position. I personally think Allegri should play Urby in the LB instead of the CAM position and have both Kpb and SES for the CAM position, that way everone is… Read more »
Pls max alegri try 2 use dir guy bcos he has so much 2 offer d team
“one day i would like to play with kaka at milan” come’on b&g just negotiate his wages.most of us want kaka back.
I hope so Stephan, I’m looking forward to see you grow and like the previous comments states, I would like to see you play as trequartista but we all know Allegri, he’ll probably end up using Constant as a trequartista this season. I am still shocked that he let go of Pirlo, his style of play can keep going into his late thirties, and he’d be more than happy to stay and he was easily worth the money he wanted and the contract he wanted. Stupid Milan, we’re getting worse by the year, I’d rather promote our youngsters than our… Read more »
He’s nice but don’t forget of Simone Verdi, i think he’s got the talent to play for Milan as trequartista, hope to see them one day play together in the rossoneri shirt
KPB and Sharawy should play CAM. One as a substitute to the other not as a 2nd striker.
