Official: Ambrosini pens new deal

MASSIMO AMBROSINI has extended his Milan deal until the year of 2013.

Many of Milan’s dressing room leaders decided to leave the club this season and now very few veterans are left in the team but Rossoneri Captain Massimo Ambrosini is set to stay at Milan for another year.

Milan have confirmed that Ambrosini (34) has renewed his deal with Milan until 30 June 2013. The player will continue to function as the captain of the team, a role he’s been filling since Maldini retired in 2009.

Milan set for Maxi Lopez talks

“A.C. Milan have announced that they have extended Captain Massimo Ambrosini’s contract until June 30th, 2013,” a statement on Milan’s official website reads. Ambrosini joined Milan in 1995 from Cesena where he grew up when he was just 18. He’s played 433 games in all competitions and scored 35 goals.

Ambrosini is likely to play a diminished role next season as coach Allegri has already confirmed Riccardo Montolivo will be playing Ambro’s role in front of the defense. Max can also play on the midfield’s side.

The Sun claim Manchester City are serious about Ibrahimovic. Roberto Mancini is willing to pay Zlatan £300,000 as a weekly salary and buy him out from AC Milan with £25m. AC Milan is so screwed it is beyond me. That money will just go to pay off FC Barcelona. And there are no players in Ibras caliber that we can afford either, what we have is Pato an injury prone brazilian at best. PSG & Real Madrid is also hunting for Ibra btw.

Nimesh loves Milan

I want to know who all are we genuinely tracking? The media comes up with all sort of BS …. Anyone here who has a decent idea?

Kwabena Adu

Waste of money and resources
Ambrosini have to leave,he is too old we can’t rely on him anymore, promote one of the players from the primavera to cover that position

You clearly never watch any Milan games.
