MAXI LOPEZ’S future could be known already this week with Catania offering a discount.
The on-loan man’s future is hanging in the balance as it’s unclear whether Milan will use their option to buy him out this summer or decide to bring him back to Catania as he wasn’t used a lot by coach Allegri.
The meeting regarding the future of Maxi was supposed to take place today but due to the health condition of the player’s representative it has been rescheduled for Thursday at Milan’s headquarters in via Turati.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Catania are ready to lower the requested fee for Maxi Lopez. The original asking price of the 28-year-old striker who admitted he likes life in Milano is €8.5 million but Rossazzurri would be willing to accept €7 million for the former Barcelona striker who netted two goals for Milan.
Lopez played only 9 games for Milan since he was brought in January and his agent, Andrea D’Amico, will meet with CEO Adriano Galliani face-to-face this week to see what the future holds for his client.
