Andrea Conti will fight for his place in the starting XI as he’s apparently decided to reject the offers.

Conti has fully recovered from his injuries and he is trying to get back to his old Atalanta level. However, he is currently second choice at Milan as Davide Calabria is the starting right back.

As a result, there have been rumours that Conti could consider to go on loan to another club in order to play with consistently. The player’s agent had already denied those claims but the Italian media persisted and kept claiming that there is interest in Conti from other clubs.

However, according to a report from Sky on Friday, despite the fact that Parma and Werder Bremen are both ready to offer the player the chance to play a lot, Andrea has realized that staying at Milan is the right thing for him. In addition, the club has seen improvements from him recently.

Therefore, Sky claims that Conti is destined to stay at Milan. He is called-up for tomorrow’s game against Cesena and will have another chance to show his qualify to coach Marco Giampaolo.

Italian media seems to be getting almost all the Milan mercato news wrong this season. I bet Milan won’t allow him leave, except he pushes for it. But that doesn’t look likely either.
Good player, will rival Calabria once he gets his fitness back.

Best decision for Conti and Milan. He is better than Calabria in my opinion and he adds more assists and goals. Conti and Hernández will be key to Milan success.
