Milan are thinking about the day after Donnarumma and contacts have already been initiated with Neto’s agents.
It remains to be seen if Donnarumma will leave in this window or next summer when his contract expires, but what’s clear is that Gianluigi will not wear the shirt of the Rossoneri again, as the club confirmed today that the player made a ‘definitive’ decision to reject their offer for renewal.
The decision of Donnarumma and of his agent Mino Raiola caught many by surprise, and it leaves il Diavolo in need for a new first-choice goalkeeper.
As reported by journalist Romeo Agresti, Sky Italia and Milannews.it, Milan have set their eyes on Norberto Neto, who’s been the second-choice keeper at Juventus since 2015. Contacts between the Diavolo and Neto’s entourage have already been initiated and Juve value him at €10-12 million.
The 27-year-old Brazilian is also on the lists of Watford, Valencia and Napoli. He was previously coached by Montella at Fiorentina. Milannews.it also brings up the name of the Udinese-owned Alex Meret, who won Serie B with SPAL last season, while Sky suggested that Genoa’s Mattia Perin could be an option as well, despite the fact that the 24-year-old is coming off a knee injury.
Pepe Reina’s agent has already taken his client’s name off the list, suggesting ‘there is absolutely no chance’ of the Spaniard joining Milan, while Wojciech Szczesny is also a name that interest Fassone and Mirabelli, but the Polish is promised to Juventus and will soon move to the Bianconeri.
At least from the initial reports, it doesn’t seem as though Gabriel, Marco Storari or Alessandro Plizzari would be first-choice next season; Milan are on the market for a new goalkeeper.

The solution is simple: Either sell him at a reasonable price, even 30m is better than peanuts, or deny him of any services at the club. No playing matches, no training, not even watching those. And then get someone to share the goal with Plizzari until he matures

Someone here made a very good remark. Navas has won CL and he’s just a decent goalkeeper, while Bufon who is one of best ever, if not the best, has never won it. So, imo he can go wherever he wants, ideally at Real Madrid with the condition we’ll take James Rodriguez.

It was mostly nedved and catenaccio strategy that carried them into the final not buffon. You know what is the problem? That you isolate skills and specific years. Probably there was somebody better than him in a season, or in certain skill. But all I know is that the last 20 years it’s always Buffon or Schmeichel, then Buffon or Kahn then Buffon or Barthez then Buffon or Casillias then Buffon or Czech then Buffon or Neuer etc. You see my point? Club rivalry? Zidane is one of 2 favorite players of mine. I have no hesitations whatsoever to claim he’s one of the best ever. If milan sell donna to madrid/psg now then at the very least they’ll get money and they get to decide donna’s path. If milan keep donna in any way and let his contract run out then by the end of next season they will lose all control over him and he may leave to any clubs he likes, including juve, leaving milan with nothing but a big FU.

Well, from what ive read so far:
1) psg are willing to buy him. Some sites even claim psg has offered donna blank cheque. Donna says he only wants to go to madrid but with august 1st slowly approaching, who knows.
2) due to his soon to be expired contract, milan are willing to sell donna for 30m and madrid appear to be interested. Lets face it, 30m is like minimum buying fee for madrid (coentrao, kovacic, morata, casemiro, kroos etc)
We shouldn’t get too emotional, we need to think bussiness now. Sell him to either PSG and have them include Pastore or Madrid and get James in the deal. Win-win, simple

Well, I want to believe that Fassonbeli knows what to do. Also, want to believe they will play smart enough with his transfer. My concern is he shouldn’t be sold to Juventus (I would have want that, just because he won’t win the champions League) , Madrid, but only to PSG (he won’t win the CL also). Neto… we are slowly turning into Fiorentina anno 2014/2015… My vote is definitely for Perin, I’ve wanted him for ages, but then we got Donnarumma and thought we were in the clear. Perin has always seemed Milan-bound in my eyes, but I really want to see Plizz… at least in Coppa Italia/Europa league.
Plizzari should get his chance now in pre season even tough we won’t have much from it as EL qualifications are here. If we had balls to put Gigio on goal at his 16, Plizzari can also do it and Abbiati to mentor him

Sell Donna and MDS to Premier League or La Liga clubs bcoz they are willing to buy with high price.For a goalkeeper, I suggest to sign a mature goalkeeper from the Netherland or Germany. They always have best talents for GK role. One prospective GK is 27 y.o Sergio Padt from FC Groningen. This guy is big, 192cm, strong in penalty saving and has very good concentration.
