Stephan El Shaarawy can start doing physical and athletic work again although it will take some time before he plays. However, Van Ginkel has recovered and is ready for Samp.
Inzaghi got some bad news earlier this week when he lost both Van Ginkel and Bonaventura to injuries days before the important game with Sampdoria (Sunday, 20:45 CET) but as it turns out, the Dutchman no longer suffers from an inflamed knee and was back in training today while there is optimism that Jack can recover in time for the match as well.
Inzaghi will also soon be able to welcome back El Shaarawy. “AC Milan communicate that Stephan El Shaarawy underwent instrumental and clinical examinations today with Professor Niek Van Dijk, who confirmed the healing of the fracture at the base of the fifth metatarsal bone in the right foot. The striker was therefore given permission to return to physical and athletic activity,” a statement reads.

Sky Italia meanwhile gives information about his future. Genoa’s Enrico Preziosi said that he wants to have the forward back (to which Adriano Galliani replied “Let’s be serious…”) but if El Shaarawy were to leave he’d rather go abroad, namely to Arsenal. His preference, however, is to stay.
It will probably take a few weeks before El Shaarawy is cleared to play again but this is good news for the youngster who has barely featured in the last two seasons due to injuries.

Welcome back SES
Comment:welcome back SES, good news
Until he’s out again
I would rather tie him to bed next 2 months, and let him recover for next season (so he can go trough preseason) than force to play him this season… I mean, we have that position well covered, and i wouldnt risk his injury again… SES, Bonaventura and De Sciglio MUST be a backbone of new Milan… Along with Perin at goal (talking about future, Lopez rules for now) and one young CDM, it would be team backbone for dreams… Bringing Maldini as CEO, and hopefully Nesta, Inzaghi and Gattuso for POSITION coaches, along with one badass coach like Simeone,… Read more »
