MARCO VAN GINKEL and Maxime Lestienne could join Milan on loan as the Rossoneri are seeing for reinforcements.
The sale of Mario Balotelli changed the Milan market. The Rossoneri are looking for a replacement for the now Liverpool striker and are also interested in adding a midfielder & according to the Italian media, a right winger is still in demand.
Despite selling Balotelli for €20 million, money is not exactly something Milan have to spend in this market and they are still searching for low-cost solutions and loans and it seems that Maxime Lestienne could be the guy for Filippo Inzaghi.

Torres wants permanent move, Van Ginkel to Milan on loan?
Lestienne, 22-year-old, has been bought from Club Brugge by a Qatari fund and according to today’s reports on Sky Italia and from Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan want to sign him and the player could arrive on a free loan. Di Marzio indicates that there could be a meeting tomorrow between Milan and the fund representatives to try to reach an agreement over a loan deal.
Sky claims that if Lestienne arrived, he’d earn €1m plus bonuses. A buy-out option is unlikely to be included as the Qatari fund’s interest is for Lestienne’s value to rise so they’ll be able to make money off him in a few years. “What I can say for sure is that Lestienne will play in Europe and not in Qatar. He will go away on loan from the Qatar fund,” the agent of the player, Mikkel Beck, said this week. “We will wait and see what happens this week. Many teams are interested in Maxime. If he’ll go to Milan? We’ll wait and see. If he would like it? Yes, but let’s see how it goes. There’re interesting clubs interested.”
Alessio Cerci is not a feasible target but according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Jonathan Biabiany, 26, could arrive if Milan fail to sign a striker or if Lestienne doesn’t come. The Parma man would then be used as winger or as a false 9. Milan’s offer could be €4.5 million + Cristian Zaccardo. MC suggested earlier Biabiany, a former Inter man, is more likely than Lestienne and this evening they again reported that the Belgian would only be signed if Milan won’t manage to get a striker.
As for the midfielder chase, Sky reports that Chelsea are open to the idea of sending Marco Van Ginkel, 21, on loan and it’s also claimed that the Dutchman will meet Jose Mourinho soon to discuss his future. MC reports that Nigel De Jong (who according to the Milan Channel will certainly stay at Milan), told the Rossoneri to sign the player. The likes of Rabiot and Dzemaili don’t seem to be main targets as Milan focus on getting the former Vitesse man, who had a knee injury last year.
The Milan Channel also confirms that Van Ginkel is the likeliest to arrive from those who have been considered for the midfielder position as Rabiot is deemed too pricy. MC also claims Milan have received offers for some center backs.

where does the money go?
look at all the players we’ve sold over the last few years…kaka, ibra, silva, balotelli, etc
and who have we brought in?
well sell balo for 20 mil, and all we can afford is free loans for replacements?
once again, where does the money go?
also…i’d rather just use pazzini as a striker instead of trying menez or biabiany as a false 9…where does that idea even come from?
so many news those days….. do not know what really is going to happen!!!!
checking back on september 01 would be wise
Good, Van Ginkel is definately a better option than Dzemailli and Rabiot. Dzemailli is average and Rabiot is very young and still raw, we have already have Christante.
We really need a striker though, the latest name to be linked with Milan is Mitrouglou.
Can anyone tell me if he is any good?
He was a beast at Olymiakos – Scored lots of goals in the leauge, national team and CL – But flopped at Fulham…
wow… last 3 years is a disaster… selling Balo changed nothing…
I hope mitroglou will come.
He is stronger in air then balo and very good with both feet.
Also strong and some skill.
Balo is faster but i think we need a striker like mitroglou more then we need a balo.
Mitroglou is crap – he is in the same class as Matri so we definitely don’t need more dead weight. I know this will not happen but to make this team better we need better players – bring Silva and Ibra back, get Hazard, James Rodriguez and bring back Pirlo. If you want to be on top, you need top players, period. Milan is not what it used to be – the management has completely lost their mind. Just imagine if we don’t make the Champions League next year and miss out on the money it brings – it will… Read more »
Official; Mehdi Benatia in FC Bayern Munchen for 5 years! this is a real team.. who have a great system.. and good economic…! but im so sad about us (AC MILAN) we still get players on loan.. this is how milan want to be the best club in the world in future? .. i dont think so! i don’t see any future about milan.. we sell players like ibra thiago silva and now balo.. and we still buy players on loan….. im so so so so saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad! :(
I like the idea of bringing Van Ginkel and Lestienne to Milan. They are young and will add power and speed to the team. However, what the hell actually happens with the money we make out of the transfers? We had to let go Kaka, Robinho and Balotelli, along with other players to save the wages and make a fund. Now I see Cerci, Douglas Costa, J Martinez, Falcao, Rabiot are all out of our budget? Wasn’t our financial situation same before we sold our players? I honestly don’t know what to feel. I have love for the club in… Read more »
There are more problems than solutions for every move Galliani make these days. Hey want to destroy that really cool brand? #AskGalliani
Four remaining targets for replacing Balotelli are now Torres, Borini, Mitroglou or Soldado
We’ll end up loaning Torres while paying half wages, biabianny for rw as our gift from the old bald, and why do we need to loan a 21 year old midfielder? CRISTANTE-SAPONARA????? if the guy shines chealsea won’t sell him
You can say anyone looks good in a highlight video as it is their best moments, but lestienne looks like a confident talented young individual who seems capable of using both feet effectively and also appears to have great dribbling skills and solid vision. Would be an interesting transfer if we get him even on loan
the boy in this particular video looks good. i dare say. but youtube videos are not the best judge of ability are they? let him come. he is the Galliani type of transfer: free loan, salary under 1M euros. perfecto!
Biabiany as a false 9, why? Because he is so deadly in front of goal, seriously… We need a striker, but when i see with whom we are linked i´m about to lose it. Our primary target seems to be Torres, Borini the first alternative, then Soldado and Mitroglou. When i read these names i wonder what the hell is going in the heads of those people who are in charge of our beloved milan. Borini is just completely useless, Torres will be one of those old matri-like overpriced players, getting an exaggerated salary for disappointing game after game, eventually… Read more »
same here, mate
No Champions League = sell one of your assets, Balotelli, at least they could receive more than 20mill €, something between 25-30 that’s what irritating me. But that’s the only thing I can come up with why we don’t invest in someone, but at the same time, they have been doing that for some time without getting a good replacement. About the loans of Lestienne and Van Ginkel, might be good in short term. If they deliver, the quatar company who owns the belgian will sell him for 10mil + and the same goes for Van Ginkel where Chelsea get… Read more »
Van ginkel = empréstimo + opção de compra
Shaqiri = comprar por U$22.0000
Mitroglou = empréstimo + opção de compra
Lopez; Abate,Rami,Zapata (alex),De Sliglio; De Jong, Cristante (Montolivo) e Van Ginkel; Shaqiri, El Sharawi e Mitroglou
van Ginkel in the midfield would be a great addition and by selling Essien we would have been all set in the midfield for this season. but we also need to get rid of Zaccardo, Mexes(if we had problems with wages we should’ve started with this guy) and either loan Gabriel or sell Agazzi. After that to buy either Destro or Martinez if possible and reduce Cerci’s price to 7-8m(maybe lower) by adding Pazzini’s and Nocerino’s full ownerships(i don’t like either of these players) and after that buying him of course. and the total expenditure would’ve been 23-24m. but “luckly”… Read more »
Lets wait till d end of d marcato…finger crossed…forza milan
MILAN IS THE MOST STUPIDEST TEAM IN THE WORLD!!!
SELL!!! SELL!!! SELL!!! MILAN
TO THOSE ARABIANS
Sell to those Arabians?; are you serious what are talking about ? Which Arabians?
The best Milan can do is to invest in those young talents; van Ginkel and lestiene are young and talented better gamble and cheaper than old ladies. With the young team Milan has and finally a defense better than what we had last year, certainly better GK. For the first time in many years Milan played 2 games without conceding one goal. So young talent for this year, we have nothing to lose, and maybe next year will go for the like of Falcao.
i see they just wana buy someone and thats it. i bet if i call them tomorow they would sign me
am heartbroken…….
If you don’t cultivate, how then will you harvest. What a man soweth, that he shall reap. If G and B end up signing a mediocre, they will still give him their mediocre abilities. I miss the days of Zlatan, sheva, crespo, stam, maldini, pipo, seedorf, gattuso, pirlo, nesta, serginho, kaka, T.silva….etc
