Milan in for a striker & a midfielder but clubs tell them ‘no’

MILAN ARE running out of options as every club they have called has told them the player in question isn’t for sale.

Mario Balotelli will officially become a Liverpool player early next week and the Rossoneri are deep in the search for his replacement. They are also looking to sign a midfielder to add quality and depth to that department but there are difficulties.

Milan’s number one goal to replace Balotelli is Jackson Martinez of Porto. However, Adriano Galliani called their president Pinto da Costa but he told him that the player is not available for anything less than his buy-out clause – €30 million.

Galliani to meet Torino to resume Cerci talks tomorrow?
Raiola: “Balotelli isn’t a leader, it was time for him to leave Milan”

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Jackson Martinez, 27-year-old, will ask Porto to sell him this summer but it appears that the Portuguese club won’t be giving any discounts so Milan won’t actually be able to sign him. The Rossoneri also made an approach to sign Mattia Destro, 23, but Roma told them the player is not for sale (at least not for below €25 mil).

Gazzetta made a list Milan’s targets for the striker role and in addition to Martinez and Destro, the pink newspaper also had Javier Hernandez (26), Roberto Soldado (29), Fernando Torres (30), Alvaro Negredo (29) and Luis Muriel (23). In fact, according to Sky Italia, Galliani called Udinese today to ask about the availability of Muriel. Once again – the answer was negative; Giampaolo Pozzo told Milan the player is not for sale and Di Marzio thinks the name can be crossed off the list.A

Radamel Falcao (28) is Silvio Berlusconi’s dream but it’s clear that the Colombian is unattainable. Goran Pandev (31) of Napoli is also an option and while he was viewed as a winger or a second striker, he can also play as a prima punta. It’s believed that Torres (on loan) and Eto’o (free agent) are the likeliest options right now with SportItalia claiming that Milan could send someone over to London to talk to Chelsea about Spaniard. Torres has also been dropped from Chelsea’s squad for the Leicester match, which further fueled speculations that the Rossoneri could take him on loan + option to buy.

Milan are also interested in acquiring a midfielder and it appears that their attempts to sign Adrien Rabiot (19) have proved unsuccessful. Milan would’ve liked to take him on loan (or maybe a 2-year loan) but the player would have to sign a contract extension at PSG for that to happen and it doesn’t look like an option right now. The Rossoneri also made an attempt to sign Chelsea’s Marco Van Ginkel (21) on loan but according to Gazzetta & La Stampa, Chelsea told them it won’t happen.

With Rabiot and Van Ginkel apparently unavailable, Milan are turning again to Napoli’s Blerim Dzemaili (28) and according to Mediaset Galliani had dinner with the agent of the Swiss last night. Milan have also been linked with other midfielders.

A lot of talk and no action! Berlu must do something fast the time is over!
I think that Cerci or Douglas Costas are good options!
And Torres as a striker! Maybe he can find his football with rossoneri shirt!

No body want to have Business with milan..look what milan did to velencia over rami..and qpr over taarbt..pathetic galliani..he just want to loan loan loan milan have become begging club..just buy rabbiot he can b good investment

El Greco

Amateur handling of the transfer market, but that’s what happens if you have no money…

No hope….

I seems to be a dark year for Milan once again.

Torres? I doubt there is one single person, who would say Torres is better than Bendtner.

this is what happens when you sell a top player at the end of the window

other teams are too smart…won’t sell except at exorbitant fees because they know they won’t have time to sign replacements

supply and demand

what has happened to our club? what caused management to become so incredibly stupid?

Try Dzeko

dzeko just signed an extension with man city

that ship has sailed

The best transfer guru…smartest management from “the most succesful club in the world”…sold his main striker, without knowing his replacement, in very limited time. Very good vision…try to hire promising youngster Torres…who can’t score even in many chances, the goal was completely empty. Try to loan someone from club, that he thought already become his bestfriend after gave them our two best players in the same time. Hahaha…brainless…

i hope we can sign good striker and left foot winger by sept 2. i wouldnt risk it with torres, martinez or destro i like most from rumored strikers. we should try to sign aleksandar mitrovic he playes like a beast and is only 19. for mc dzemaili should be signed as he would cost us 2.5-3m and he is quality player. As for winger i would go for cerci. Forza Milan!

Milan fan

Who cares,do fans and Milan management realize that the DEFENSE and goalkeeper is the main problem ?

Kwabena Adu

Mr galliani please don’t panic we still have niang and pazzini, matia destro for 25, you must be kidding. Cerci if we can’t afford him just buy taarabt. or buy midfielder and center back. please give space for menez.

I can’t believe now its so hard for Milan to buy a player before they’re all have their bag pack wait for Milan to call them

Who on earth wants to deal with a stingy man?. Galliani has spoilt the club’s name in the market with his recent dirty handling.

breathing milan

y dont we try to get lukaku ???

Demba ba is also good option

Philip Emma

Milan president and is co-board member should sell the club because there i no active player

Im fan since 2000 but if we get Torres Im getting pause until he quits and we start to act like team i could be prod of… Now everyone can make fun of us only and I dont see anything sympatic happening right now… Rather let play youth players than get shits like Torres

Well done Silvio, selling Balotelli looks like a smart decision right now bwahaha. Basic business you don’t sell your prized assets without having lined up another asset to take its place

The only one out of that lot I wouldn’t mind coming to Milan is Martinez. But we’ll probably end up with Pandev. Or Bendtner.

Stupid management. Learn at least.
No club sells any of its players without a backup!!!!

Douglas cost wanted to join Milan..shaktar is also ready to offload him…Milan should focus on him now…..
Menez could play CF..he played good yesterday….or promote el shaarawy to CF strker

Its a Pittttty we had 2 endin up lik ds !!!

Time ideal:
Lopez; Abate, Rami, Zapata, Se siglio; De jong, Cristante, Van Ginkel; El Sharawi, Shaqiri e Torres/Etoo

Van ginkel = emprestimo + opção de compra
Shaqiri = U$22 milhões
Torres = empréstimo
Etoo = livre
