MIRCEA LUCESCU has added another name to Milan’s list of midfield targets but the Brazilian player is closer to the Serie A rivals Fiorentina.
A right winger is a priority and Cerci & Costa are the top options but it’s suggested that Milan could also sign a midfielder at the end of the mercato if an opportunity arises. Milan have been linked with Napoli’s Blerim Dzemaili & OL’s Clement Grenier but it appears that Shakhtar Donetsk’s Fernando is also a target of il Diavolo.
D. Costa on the market, Shakhtar, life in Ukraine and more…
Report: Milan make new €13 million bid for Cerci
“Fiorentina are interested in Fernando, and the negotiations are real, but they are stingy,” Shakhtar’s head coach Mircea Lucescu, who is in Italy with the squad for a mini training camp, told Sky Italia. “Milan are also interested in Fernando; it’s a solution that the player likes.” Many believe that Milan need reinforcements in the area of midfield as they only have 6-7 of them available until Riccardo Montolivo recovers from his tibia injury (the red and black captain is expected to return around December).
The 22-year-old Brazilian midfielder has admitted that his future can be in Serie A: “There is the possibility that I will play in Italy for Fiorentina. We will see how it goes.” Like Douglas Costa, Fernando moved to Shakhtar from the Brazilian Gremio.
No Fernando, very defensive, he is not creative at all and can`t pass very well. At best he would be a back-up for Nigel, he is not what we need.
Or maybe Nigel will be sold, if so, then we are done for I`m afraid.
in: doria(loan him back); grenier; taarabt and cerci/costa
out: agazzi(to be sold)/gabriel(loaned); mexes(hope Manchester will buy him); honda; essien; muntari(hope liverpool will buy him); didac(practically sold); zaccardo(why is he still in Milan?).
7 out, 4 in. 25 players will be more than enough.
Why do you want to get rid of Honda? He obviously a quality player, he just hasn`t really gotten the chance to show it yet.
I agree about the rest though, except Doria won`t come because of the Seedorf saga. We should get nastasic from City instead.
When will you guys stop dreaming about Doria? He is not coming after what B&G did to Seedorf!
Yes, that`s what I said.
get blind from ajax. we need a midfilder that kan build the game and is stabil with the ball not destoriers we have de jong,
as far as i hv come to know B&G, they’ll only get a winger in this mercato at d most. n then they’ll wait for winter market, if d table wil not b favouring us then thy mite think of bringing a midfielder.
Unfortunately, i think you are right!
Ha, no, cause i the winter market Montolivo will be our new signing, so i think we can rule that out.
How long have you lot been Milan fans??????
Is since 19?? or 20??
