Galliani: “We need to find continuity, I cried when I sold Kaka”

ADRIANO GALLIANI is happy he went to Madrid to sign Kaka in the summer and wants Milan to get a winning run.

It’s been some week for Vice President Adriano Galliani: on Friday evening he announced that he’s leaving the Rossoneri after being insulted but Silvio Berlusconi has managed to keep Galliani, even though Adriano’s power will be diminished.

Galliani was with the squad in Sicily on Sunday noon for the match with Catania and saw his side scoring three times and getting their first away win in Serie A this season. Uncle Fester hopes Milan can keep winning and climb up the table.

Kaka: “An important game”, Montolivo: “Milan on the right path”
Highlights: Catania 1-3 Milan

“I was happy with the reaction after conceding the goal and the double victory away from home in the Champions League and the championship,” Galliani told Milan Channel after the game. “We had 5 players in defence who are not first team regulars or that don’t play that much and they all did well. The midfield did well and then we’ve Ricky who’s a phenomenon.

“He told me that he was waiting for Mario to arrive, he didn’t arrive and he shot. I cried in 2009 when I went to sell him, then I thank the Lord I had the idea on the 31st of August to go to Madrid without any pre-arranged appointment and from there it happened and Kaka came back. I said the other night to the President, when you win you think about going on and always winning and it’s like this even when you lose and things don’t go well. Then there is the moment that changes everything.

“After 28 years at Milan I continue to say sport is a cycle. For example, we’ve got 6 points in 4 away matches after having got very few. Now we need to find continuity, we’re behind but if we can get on a winning run we will begin to climb the table.”

Sometimes i suspect that many non-milan fans post here, as when Milan wins I cannot see poeple talking !!

Milanista121

That is so true, I thought of the exact same thing, some people just come here to complain!
So weird haha…Forza Milan!

RossoneriZerg

If you thought that game was great then I don’t know what to tell you. We simply played “OK.” We still made plenty of errors. Our possession of the ball is still garbage. So I don’t think we’re due for showers of compliments yet. But from these run of games and especially this last one, this is what I conclude: Kaka is class, always was and always will be. Montolivo has 1 hot game and 1 cold. Hopefully he can play like he did vs Catania in the upcoming run of games too. Emmanuelson is improving but he needs to… Read more »

KAKA will bright again ..i think Milan schould keep him til hes 40 :) Totti is still in Roma and he is key player ..Kaka can be this case too !

MrEskola

Yes, he’s so professional and he’s in great shape. His vision and leadership will only improve in the coming years, I certainly he’ll end his career at Milan, hopefully he can keep going as long as possible.

The win was important but I think it might be too late.It seems the league table has already taken shape.Whiles others were preparing to win the Scudetto we were preparing to make the 3rd place.Juventus, Roma,Napoli,Inter,Fiorentina, are currently ahead of us.I will be very surprise if we make it to Europe this season.

Basil

Milan is back on track keep the Good work up alwayz move forward Guyz, Forza Milan Forza il Capitano(Montolivo).

its not yet time. let’s play against top teams to see if we are on the right track because we can’t judge the winning against bottom league team

KAKA FOR CAPTAIN NEXT SEASON PLEASEEEEE… EVEN MONTOLIVO KEEPS CONFIRMING IT..

Pa ibra

montolivo is fine as captain. you want to make it look like captaincy is another mess in milan just to add our issues.

Hasowayne

Oh please… How can you say such, do you know what’s in my head.. Common, we all have a right to our opinions so please don’t come here and twist my comment, just ass yours. Kaka to me is the true leader of that team, Montolivo just wears the armband.. Who goes to talk to Balotelli every time he starts something? Of course Kaka and he never gets tired of doing it.. That’s a leaders work.. I have so many other points and amazingly Montolivo has said same thing I am saying in three different interviews he gave..

Hasowayne

I post comments here after I must have thought it out very well and I post them for people with good I.Q’s to relate with. Where in my statements did I point out that Montolivo’s a bad captain? I don’t know what you watch when watching the team play even though there’s been very little to be happy about since the beginning of this season, the biggest positive so far has been Kaka and I am sure 99 percent agree with me on that.. He Scores, controls bad tempers (Balotelli) makes great assists, very humble in his speech and interviews… Read more »

young philip

Ya’ll nid 2 stop mekin drama n enjiy tis victory

Lawrence

He cried when he sold Kaka? Who didn’t?! We also did when you sold Shevchenko, Thiago Silva, let Pirlo Seedorf Nesta leave on free transfer, bought Matri, Constant, Muntari etc.

Pa ibra

It might sound like i was questioning your opinion but i dont really question others opinions. agreed kaka is a leader, been acting like it and would make a great captain. however i believe talking about captaincy during the season may affect montolivo in a bad way which is why i said “you adding an issue to our already lot issues”… sorry for not saying it in a better manner., just that some people have been calling kaka the captain of the team already which is not so respectful to montolivo. true you never said monty is a bad captain,… Read more »

Pa ibra

had some dificulties replying to you directly. .

Hasowayne

It’s ayt, I get your point now, sorry I came out kind of defensive.. Well what we write here are just opinions, the players don’t get to read them so there is no way I would be adding to Milan’s issues. And besides, Montolivo himself would gladly give the captain armband to Kaka and I am judging that from what I have heard Montolivo say in his interviews. It was just an opinion.. I love Kaka too much.

Pa ibra

i also read a couple of his interviews about kaka but to me its more like been honest with what kaka has done and what he can do… i doubt he’ll love handling him the band. whatever i’ve no problems if he decides to or things gets evaluated in the summer then club decide to hand it to kaka., he obviously wont be a bad chioce. i got you as well. we all have right to say what we want or feel and of course monty and co wont be reading our comments in here to get affected. well its… Read more »

@offliner, @Milanista121, I don’t understand what you guys are driving at. That a team we all had high hopes for during the preseasons suddendly began the season in a free fall caused by the incompetnt of a coach that has been unfairly backed by a Mr. Galiani coupled with the fact that those fans you all claim knew little about football all saw and warned the club management of the need to strengthend our defense but Mr. Galiani ignored that warning and choosed to follow a confused coach and as such splash a whooping €12m on sorry Matri. You all… Read more »
