SILVIO BERLUSCONI has found a solution: Milan will have two general managers – Galliani and Barbara Berlusconi.
Barbara Berlusconi wanted to make some big changes at Milan with old faces, Adriano Galliani for instance, walking out and new faces coming in but it seems that changes will be mild at best as Galliani’s planned exit has been cancelled.
Silvio Berlusconi announced on Saturday that Galliani will stay and the ‘club situation’ won’t change. Uncle Fester, who’d announced he’d leave yesterday, said the words of Berlusconi are sacred and it looks like the Vice President will remain.

Berlusconi: “Galliani stays, Milan proceed in unity”
It’s no secret that Barbara and Galliani aren’t getting along and have many differences but Silvio has managed to find a way to keep them both. “Today we reached a full agreement on how to organise the club,” Berlusconi commented. “There will be two general managers: one is Galliani, who will deal with the sporting sector, while Barbara will manage the other sectors.
“As for myself, I have promised to be closer to the club and the team.” It’s reported that Galliani phoned Barbara earlier on Saturday to see if they can sort out their problems. Barbara was going to bring back Paolo Maldini as the technical director but it’s highly unlikely that the legendary no. 3 will return as long as Adriano stays at Milan. “I don’t think that Galliani and Barbara Berlusconi will divide anything between them because in the end it will lead to separation,” said Zvonimir Boban.
Things will get interesting at Milan in the next weeks: it will be a test for Galliani, Barbara and Silvio – the power of Galliani has been diminished while Barbara didn’t get what she wanted either. Berlusconi continues to dictate the life at Milan.
Let him find his way Mr. Berlusconi, give your daughter enough freedom to bring us glory that we all miss for almost six years (champions league) with her admin. tactics, fashion and vision for milan.
Fashion?
Everything about AC Milan is completely messed up and just plain confused.com this is the most frustrating and worst season ever being an AC Milan fan. Being my second year at uni is stressful enough but good God this whole Milan catastrophe at the same time is just too much! Who is even in-charge at Milan? #completelyLOSTFORWORDS
serieB
Give it few weeks and Galliani will be gone – there is no way he will get along with Barbara and there is no way berlusconi will get rid of his own daughter. I love Galliani for all he did for Milan but it’s time to let someone else handle things now.
yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss give galliani a chance until the end or half of the season. guys i’m sure that galliani is waiting for someone maybe he is waitng pippo or seedorf or someone else to take and give him a chance to come back like before i’m sure that he will change don’t forget he is one of the best director in football history and bigest clubs in europe want him dont forget that he was who brought Massaro, Donadoni, Galli, Gullit, Van Basten, Ancelotti, Colombo, Rijkaard, Simone, Stroppa, Boban, Papin, Lentini Savicevic, Desailly, Laudrup, Panucci, Baggio, Weah, Viera, Ambrosini, Edgar Davids,… Read more »
Pstine, Not all the players you mentioned, in your comment, can be considered successes. Lentini wasn’t successful – he never fully recovered from his auto accident – while Vieira, Davids, Ganz, Vieri, Ronaldo, Gourcuff, Bonera, Beckham, Ronaldinho, Mexes, Flamini, Huntelaar, Mesbah? and Hachim Mastour cannot be ranked as Milan greats as they were or have not been consistent enough. The person who has the most power at Milan is Silvio Berlusconi so the buck must stop with him. Any problems we have today are due to him and him alone. Galliani will advise him but Berlusconi has the final say… Read more »
Co-CEOs? Right…
It got messy at the end but we can’t thank Galliani enough for the last 27 years. He has no equal [in any sport] as far as I’m concerned.
Still, nothing lasts forever. Hopefully the guys whoop Inter as a parting gift.
At least this thing will last until end of season.
I still believe at the end of season galliani still leaves though..
If berlusconi keeps his word for a change and promises to get closer to the team and galliani stays with reduced power, I am a fan of this.
This will not work seriously? Who is Berlusconi fooling? Barbara Berlusconi will get her way and trust me Galliani will leave as it is obvious they both dont get along well!
Galliani will only stay as acting President without any control on the sporting aspects of the club such as transfers and choosing coaches. Thats the only way this can work and that will not happen!
Therefore Galliani will eventually leave by the end of the season! In the end Barbara will get her way!
Berlu how about you start giving the club some money to spend ? And how about Galliani you spend the money wise, not on players like Constant,Birsa,Silvestre,Muntari,Matri ?? Gosh this isn’t even funny anymore, not only that the team full of average players is shaming the MILAN name, even the board is having trouble doing their work.
its just beginning of our downfall
seriously ? i pictured this news as you just add a cat and a dog in the same box
i dont know what galliani did to berluscoli in the past but this is absurd decision, in my opinion its not going well for milan
galliani is way better than barbara but wat can he do if milan do not spend
Well sure, what great club doesn’t have two CEO’s? …….uuuuuuugh
I think silvio is a smart guy. He knows things are not working and things has to change. But you don’t just make radical changes and dispose your old pal after a long walk. (It won’t help his political life either). He is also teaching his daughter a lesson in bussiness. At the end we won’t be expecting radical transformation which is not healthy for them( for such pressure). Things will improve. Patience…. Smart one dubious silvio…
Hmmm…let’s see how this ends.
Am in favour of anything that will bring our legends back.
Hmm… That’s smart and impossible.” Two tigers cannot live in the same mountain” one has to be killed
Yeah, things might not work out really. He is just giving a shot. It’s what I think though
If it wasn’t for Galliani we wouldn’t have Kaka for free. Neither would we have had Ibra or Ronaldinho on the cheap either. He knows all the top dogs like Perez at Madrid etc on personal terms. These top dogs won’t give a shit about Barbara or Maldini. Granted Galliani has too much trust in Allegri, which I don’t agree with. He should have bought someone else in place of Silvertri and Matri. But Galliani can still pull off a coupe like no other. The coach is the problem. Allegri simply doesn’t know how to get the best out of… Read more »
