BRYAN CRISTANTE and Andrea Petagna are happy to be present at Milanello for the first training of the season.
Cristante and Petagna’s excellent performances with the Primavera team have earned them a jump to the first team and today (July 8) they arrived along with the rest of the squad to the Milanello training center and are enjoying the experience.
“I want to stay here as long as possible in the first team but that will be up to the coach to decide,” Petagna, who turned 18 last week and will still play some matches with the Primavera next season despite being promoted, told the Milan Channel.

“If I play for the youth team then I want to take what I have learnt from the first team with me. It would be a dream to play for the Under-21s and I will look to give my all at Milan and take it from there. Balotelli is one of the best strikers in the world at the moment. I’ll try to learn as much as possible from him. I’m capable of playing in a 2-man attack and in a 3-man attack.”
Cristante, who is also 18, is considered one of the most promising midfielders in Italy and his real journey also begins today. “It is an important day for me and hopefully I have a slight chance to play. Things get serious from today and I have to take more responsibility,” Cristante told the official website. “I am a skillful enough player and the player I am similar in style to the most is Riccardo Montolivo.” Cristante will most likely take the role of Max Ambrosini as a Montolivo understudy.
Most of the squad has already arrived to Milanello, including Robinho who has been authorized to stop training if he’s needed for the Santos negotiations. Cristante and Petagna will both look to impress coach Allegri during the pre-season.
All the best lads, learn from the big boys and who knows? you could be the next big thing in 2 years.

I really hope that petagna would be a reicarnation of inzaghi and for cristante he would be a reincarnaiton of pirlo or gattuso but i really want to see hachim mastour play in the first team squad

From what I’ve seen of Cristante, he could become a great and let’s hope Petagna can be the same. Lets just hope Allegri gives them playing time.

It seems our season is now heavily and majorly dependent on Allegri, hope he masters efficient squad rotation, it could help these youngsters if they find playing time. Maybe if we r playin a lowly team in the sansiro and we r winning 2 or 3 zero, then he can try his hands on d young boys.

well cristante, i’d prefer skills but to be a midfielder with allegri you may need more muscles than skills or you risk playing on the wing
