Robinho: “No Santos offer, but everything is possible”

11

ROBINHO CLAIMS he is happy at Milan but will not rule out a return to his old club Santos this summer.

Robinho had a relatively poor season as he spent most of the season on the bench. However, Santos, who have sold Neymar to Barcelona, now have the cash to re-sign the 29-year-old forward, who is valued by Milan at around €10 million.

Santos representatives speak publicly almost every day about their desire to sign Robinho this summer and it looks like the Milan attacker, who was keen on a return in January, is still interested in moving back to the club that made him a star.

“If I’m going to back Santos? I cannot answer now. I’m at Milan now, I still have a contract for another year and I’m happy there. I have a good relationship with Santos and there’s no need to talk about the love I have for the club,” Robinho, who scored two goals in 27 Milan appearances in the 2012/2013 season, told TV Globo Esporte Espetacular on Sunday.

“Santos haven’t made an offer yet, and Milan haven’t shown any desire to sell me. If there’s still a chance? Everything is possible in football. If I’ll return to Brazil to go the World Cup? It can be a good shocase, and it’s clear that I were to return to Brazil, Felipe Scolari could follow me more closely.” Robinho featured in the 2010 World Cup after a loan spell at Santos from Manchester City (which earned him a move to Milan) but he’s unlikely to be there play the 2014 World Cup with Brazil.

Robinho’s representative Mino Raiola has stated last week that it’d be easier to renew Robinho’s contract than sell him but it’s clear that Santos will try to sign the player, whose contract expires next summer and who earns €4 mil a year at Milan.

Aubameyang is wanted by a host of top clubs but admits “I would like return to milan”

Milanista121

I like Robi, but if we could get around 10 million euros for him, considering his wages, it’s definitely worth considering selling him. It will open up space for Cerci, and of course Saponara, along with Bojan as he’s likely to leave as well.

Lieutenant Colonel Nana-Fynn

it will suit both parties as robinho is entering his final season of his contract at milan so milan will do well to sell now before his value diminish in january or we will lose him for free in the summer.
