STEPHAN EL SHAARAWY has signed a new contract today, tying him to Milan for five more years.
El Shaarawy has been one of the most impressive players in this pre-season and he has already found the back of the net in the minutes he’s played, against city-rivals Inter in the Trofeo TIM last Saturday.
The player joined Milan from Genoa after a fantastic year in Serie B with Padova and this will be his second year with the jersey of Milan as the Rossoneri certainly have big plans for the 19-year-old attacker.
“AC Milan announces that it has extended the contract of Stephan El Shaarawy until June 30, 2017,” a statement on Milan’s official website reads on Wednesday. It is believed that El Shaarawy has also got a pay-rise as on his debut Milan season he was one of two lowest-paid players with just €500,000 a year.
Milan also met the agent of Mattia De Sciglio in via Turati today and according to Sky Italia, the Rossoneri consider Mattia unsellable and the meeting was for sponsors reasons. Milan hold on to their youth.
