Milan confirm four more injuries

33

FOUR PLAYERS have been added to the treatment table following the derby game on Sunday.

Sunday night was without a shadow of a doubt the most disappointing night in Milan’s season as the lost the derby, and the Scudetto to Juventus all at the same time. In addition, they sustained more injuries.

Milan have today confirmed that four players that picked up knocks in the disconcerting night against Inter and they will not be available for selection in the game against Novara which concludes the season.

Goodbye? Nesta organizes press conference
Moving On…

Sulley Muntari, for whom the derby might have been his last game in a Milan shirt (although it’s believed that he’ll be signed), sprained his right knee. Promising youngster Mattia De Sciglio has sprained his right ankle, while Christian Abbiati has suffered a right thigh strain and Daniele Bonera suffered a left calf strain.

These players join the list of unavailable players that already includes Flavio Roma, Urby Emanuelson, Alexandre Pato and possibly still Thiago Silva who hasn’t healed completely, among other players.

“Filippo Inzaghi, Seedorf, Zambrotta, Flamini and Boateng were all back in full training. Ambrosini went running while Nesta went through a personalised programme. Antonini, Mesbah and Emanuelson went for a light ten-minute run while the other four injured players went through their recovery programmes.”

What is with Merkel? Why is he not playing or sitting in Bench. Milan brought him back not to use him?

Such a waste of talent

i agree with you he can be an useful addition in our poor midfield line.he is very talented and we should keep him but i heard that he is going to be part of deal with genoa for the other half of rights of stephan.it’s so sad to loose such a talent.

This is Embarrasing!

How I wish Milan could just keep silent with our injuries and not expose it to the Media.

Sorry for De Sciglio

Its no more a proud thing to say you one,like it used to be. Now people just laugh,in all seriousness they do,atleast where I live.

Kwabena Adu

There is no pride left in the club or in the jersey
Man City and Man U are both owned by foreign investors why not Milan? It’s either the Berlusconi family has no money or they have lost interest in the club,how do you call yourself a big club if you can’t buy a player worth around 20m Euros
It’s sad and painful on the side of the fans to know the only way we can get a player is through free transfers

Silas

@Peter
People think is a joke when you talk of these things,I personally was told to take off my Milan jersey by some EPL fans when I was in the subway taking a train home
They kept yelling take that sh*t off
I have always buy an Inzaghi jersey but if he should leave i will cease to buy any replica Milan jersey
They are polluting this great club with their mediocre signings

@ Milanista88 yes that’s exactly what we need and if that happens then I hope we buy Lloris, Astori, Criscito, Ganso, and Rossi.

Just a thought: the few times Boateng has played in a midfield 3 this season, he didn’t impress anyone.

Peter

@Silas You know most fans are EPL fans and Milans record against English teams has not been good,even the Arsenal game when they came close to beating us and EPL fans now use that stupid excuse that it was the pitch,which they can,because we lost badly on their pitch. The milan lab is not helping the milan name. I mean we have the best training facility in Italy,actually the world,for a team with this it certainly does not show cause the teams technical abilities and fitness is bad. Hopefully things get better and we do not end up like Steau(not… Read more »

@Peter
The Ajax calamity is just sad,looking at what they achieved some years back and the number of quality players they produced over the years,These days they can’t even make it out of the group stages…since 2007 the best we have done is quarter final,Ac Milan is a great club….We have to do more than what we are doing now

Milan4ever

@ Silas, Peter, and Kwabena Adu. You and anyone who agrees with u are not milan fans. You’d say mediocre players who aren’t milan quality and no pride in the team.

I’D SAY MEDIOCRE FANS WHO SHOULD GO CHEER FOR SOME OTHER TEAM AND THERE IS NO PRIDE IN LISTENING TO OR READING WHAT THOSE FANS THINK. It just s depressing seeing how poisoned some fans have become.

@Giancarlo(Milan4ever)
You are pathetic,The truth always hurt,80% of Ac Milan fan are not satisfied with the clubs cunning ways of acquiring players,Free transfers led us to lossing the Scudetto…With such signings Jubentus will destroy us next season,just mark my words

Free transfer was not not the problem. The problem was to maintain continuity in the players like keeping them healthy for game.

No just disappointed is there anything wrong with that I realize we aren’t the Milan of old. Its fine they laugh,Im not ashamed Im a Milan fan. I’ve been watching Milan a long time not longer than most,but when you support Milan you expect better. I realize that we have a tough road ahead and unlike most I support there signings and do not expect over priced signing,but smart one. I rather sign a free,than buy an Anderson for 20 mil. Whats wrong with being dissappointed must we just be happy with what Milan is doing,if I may ask?

I wonder if some guys here have shame. 2months earlier that people bash for signing muntari, yet he impress and shut ur mouth.

I told u, I’m not a mediocre fans, but a loyal and smart fans. I just can’t wait to see milan sign some pleyers then shut ur mouth up!

Anyway, I was curious why did some fans always speak negative!

@peter I definitely agree with u bro. U said it perfectly!

For me I will support each signings as i ( I don’t know some of u) don’t know inside’s milan management. But I will support milan even if it is in bad condition. If u guys ashamed to support this club, go support malaga, PSG, man city, as they have tons of money to shut ur mouth up
