ROBINHO is getting ready for the Derby della Madonnina and says he’s happy and calm at Milan.
There have also been rumours that the future of Robinho could be at Santos next year as the Brazilian is having a rather disappointing season and has failed to find consistency, losing his place in the starting XI.
Binho even admitted that he’d welcome a Santos return, but now says he does not plan to leave Milan and he’s happy here. He also targets two more wins before the season ends and hopefully a Juventus slip.
Mexes not unhappy at Milan
Milan’s Financial State
“It was a fantastic game [against Atalanta]. We played well and those were three really important points for us – thank goodness something went our way and Juventus slipped-up and so the league is still open and we hope to keep on winning as our objective is to keep going until the end and hopefully win the league,” Robinho, who scored the second goal against Atalanta, coming off the bench, told the Milan Channel.
“The squad is very excited now that we have two games left and we know how important these two games are for us – two cup finals that we have to win and after that we’ll see what happens,” the forward added.
“I hope to do my best in the derby against Inter and I hope it’ll be a great evening of football and that I can help the team to win. We know the quality they have, they are a well-prepared team with great players but for as long as I’ve been at the club we’ve always been extremely well-prepared as well. Thiago and Pato? They are both very important players for us and at the moment I don’t even know if Thiago will play or not, let’s hope that him and Pato will be back as soon as possible because they’re important players for us.
“I know football and I know that when you get to the end of the season, people exaggerate things. The truth is I’m happy in Milan. I’m calm here, I’m focused on my team and doing my best every day in training and I really love the Milan fans.” Robinho or Antonio Cassano will play from the start against the Nerazzurri.
