Zlatan Ibrahimovic risks derby ban

30

ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC could be banned for the upcoming Derby della Madonnina against Inter.

Milan might be forced to play against Inter Milan on April 3 without their Sweden striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, 29-year-old, according to Milannews.it.

In the game against Bari, Ibrahimovic picked up a yellow card and then a direct red card. Ibra will certainly miss the game against Palermo next week but could be out also for the Derby della Madonnina.

Allegri: ‘Everyone expected to win’
Milan 1 – 1 Bari

The regulations are that for a direct red card, the player could be receive a two-match ban, but the referee, Christian Brighi here, has the call whether to get him suspended for one or two games.

The fact that what Ibra did was not a foul but a violence reaction that caused by his frustration from the game and from himself, without any justification, could “help” Brighi make up his mind and decide if he helps Inter more, after disallowing two goals for Milan today.

Dats very gud for ibra. I hope he misses 3 matches. So berretta can play or oduamadi.

I have no idea what the hell is his problem. But the positive is that this is a wake up call for Allegri, STOP PLAYING IBRA EVERY SINGLE GAME. Cassano was rested and motivated. I’m really trying to understand Allegri decision, but I just can’t.

Shindigzz

Ibra is a little bitch… but to be completely honest… that was a weak Red card…

TJ56

@Shindigzz

Maybe, but we were better off without him weren’t we?

shindigzz

I agree… he’s become awful… he has gone from a god to a pariah in about 3 months… pretty fricken awful… earlier this season, there was no doubt we should have purchased him at the end of the season… now, no effing way, we need to put Pato as our main striker and find a young striker to back him up and support him… spend the money we would have spent on Ibra and buy some quality young players

Sheva7

i hope play with inter!

IF ANYONE WANTS TO HELP INTER ,THEY CAN GET “SILVA or ABATE” SUSPENDED. GETTING IBRA SUSPENDED IS LIKE HELPING MILAN ” INTER will be hoping IBRA plays.

rossonero23

Ibra’s completely exhausted, yet Allegri continues to play him, every game.

Allegri should have confidence that we can beat Bari without him, but nope.

Wiley2009

Honestly Allegri is the problem…. Instead of going all out today playing 4 2 1 3 with robinho backing up cassano ibra and pato he stayed in his normal knowig we could have went 7 points clear….I dont agree with all the hatred to Ibra he was extremly frustrated and the guy wouldnt move out his way plus 2 chances for penalties and how many offsides that could have went either way and glik should have been seeing red as well

Shindigzz

@rossonero23

Ibra’s not tired… he’s just lazy as hell, the guy hasnt worked hard all season, first half he was coasting on his abilities, now ppl remember how good he really is and are catching up… since he doesnt work hard, he sux now

SupaPippo

I heared a rumor about Man City being interested in Ibra so this is what Galliani could do:

1.He could buy Ibra and sell/swap his ass to City for Balotelli

2. Just send him back to Barca and try to get Bojan

That’s how our attack would be balanced both of them are younger, better, try harder and could work better in attack with Pato

Shindigzz

@SupaPippo

agreed, we need someone who will work their heart and soul out for this team… a quality character player… which is granted, hard to find, but if we end up finding someone like that to complement Pato… oh man, watch out!

Wiley2009

@supapippio and shidigzz

one problem neither pato nor bojan wana be the central attacker…. Villa, fabiano, Tevez, Torres…we need a powerhouse striker and again giving ibra the props if Allegri would have played a more attacking formation ibra would work better for instance inter 4-2-3-1 or leonardos 4-2-1-3 and having a healthy midfield Boateng pirlo and merkel all of these would have sealed the win

ACM

cant score no more thats why he does that he does not wont to play with pato butt the coach says different he’s beeing a little girl man up play the fucking game thats what you get payed for no goals from him in the past 6 -7 games that penalty dont count the team its called milan not ibra get used to it or see the door

Wiley2009

ACM you say this but look how selfish pato is with the ball he had 5 or 6 chances to pick someone out but decides to take the shot or try to dribble aroud 5 players

jon

IBRA is the best player acm gots top scorer acm gots and top assist acm gots so stop hating on IBRA

Milansta

you know what all of you don’t know what your talking about..one of the reason we are at first place is Ibra look at the numbers. if hes not scoring he’s assisting Ibra played so many matches and was never substituted dont you think he would be so worn out by now? and what im hearing from you guys is dont buy him?! come on you gotta give the guy credit i know he hasnt been doing well but he needs the rest thats all. plus at that game Milan wasn’t Milan from two weeks ago we weren’t focused the… Read more »

Easy guys, ibra is becomming an issue but our MAIN issue is not goalkeeper, striker, fullbacks, its playmaker.

We are playing without any playmaker whatsoever, it wont work like this. The ball have to go through midfield to our strikers, and who do we have there.
V.bommel,gattuso,flamini,urby,merkel, none of them are real playmaker.

WTF happent to pirlo??? Havnt it gone 6 weeks now? Who is doctor of milan lab? who ever it is he need to get sacked before allegri or ibra or anybody else

Wiley2009

agreed boateng and robinho are the closet thing we have to playmakers….if the rumors are to about kaka making a return to milan i highly doubt it but still and adding robben would help alot as well….

milanista1899

@Shervin… I think this is ur first time of talking sense on this blog…… Pirlo shud ve been ready for Bari…Pippo shud ve startd light training by now…… Melegatti or watever his name his shud be sackd b4 we consider Ibra,Seedorf &Co. And damn Pirlo if he blows it one more time!!!! For guys who want Robben,i read somewhere dat he has a personal doctor &trainer….Well i say if dis guy can keep someone like Robben fit for a whole season+world cup then diz guy is definitely gud,it wudn’t hurt if Uncle Fester gets us diz guy,cos Melegatti is only… Read more »

Milano Q8

Hi guys, was having a bad day yesterday not just for Milan thats way did not want to participate. In brief, all players played bad except for Silva. Silva was the best player he plays with consistency. I don’t want to focus on each player what has been said so far is enough. Despite of the frustration and players being tired, I think if Seedorf played beginning of 2nd half things may have turned around differently. Cassano should have started and Ibra as sub. I think Allegri wanted to sacrifice for this match to take the 7 points lead. This… Read more »

Wow most of you guys jump ships like a Mexican policeman. How about not kissing his ass so hard when he plays good and also not dissing him so much for a mistake. In anyway he has done a lot this season enough to warrant him some respect at least. As for all of you calling back Ancelloti have you forgotten his last year in power in one short sentence: Gilardino over Ronaldinho. I ofcourse love Ancelloti but I think it was best he moved on. We needed change of ideas and how we played against Tottenham second leg is… Read more »

Milan Fan - Albania

The main problem is a coach,Alegri is good coach but dont have authority to put Ibra on bench,we need a coach that has proov him self as a coach,won some silvers and has authority to say to Ibra that he cant play every game and that can be substitute in the game.Against palermo we will see how the team will function witout Ibra. Forza Milan.

nicholas marthin

dont spend 24mio on an old ibra… His wages are crazy to.. send him back and used that money a smart way.. FORZA MILAN

GrilloGuy

Get Borriello back easy option or
… Paloschi, A. Sanchez, Matri, Neymar,

wiley2009

Ibra is well worth 20 mill he is a proven goalscoring threat when he is fit…Ibra didt want to play the match yesterday read his interview but he decided after allegri told him he would be in the squad that he would play…..he may not be the poster boy for milan but i can guarantee all of you that are bashing on him will come straight back to him being the greatest in 3 or 3 weeks

Milano Q8

Fan Albania – Allegri did side line Ibra before, he has the authority he is the coach. But he believes in Ibra his presence is important if he dose not scores he creates/assist. Physically strong and tall wouldn’t get injured easily like Pato. You need this type of player as a CF despite of his behavior. He kicks like a rocket launcher too.

nikhil

what wrong with him.he can’t wait until the milan derby end.after that he can hit or kick leonado
