AC MILAN are interested in signing a left-back, not a midfielder according to Carlo Pellegatti.
Despite most reports suggest that Milan would sign a midfielder in the winter transfer market, the Italian well-known journalist, Carlo Pellegatti suggests that Milan would like to sign a left-back.
“The strategy has changed. Milan believed to be in interested in a midfielder but they will not get Lazzari or van Bommel. The Rossoneri are now looking for a left back,” Pellegatti remarked.

Pellegatti then also revealed that Milan have put their eyes on Joan Capdevila (32) of Villarreal [pictured] and Palermo’s Federico Balzaretti (29).
Balzaretti’s agent has already denied that he had spoken to Milan. Buying Aly Cissokho or Fabio Coentrao is January would be rather unlikely, so Milan will be looking for cheaper alternatives.

For me, it’s Criscito. Genoa goes nowhere this year, so they can sell players for good money. They buy 20 players a year, so selling one of their best won’t do an Armageddon for them.

we should get criscito or coentrao. but coentrao will go to madrid so we should concentrate in criscito. please don,t get more oldies like capdevilla or van bommel even balzaretti. we want to build a strong team for the future.
I haven’t checked recently but I know Santon was having difficulty breaking into Inter’s starting XI. Why not get him, only problem though would be price and whether he is cup tied. But if it is at all possible why not go for it.

too bad Coentrao is going to sign for R. Madrid. he would have been spectacular. But Milan should make it a priority to get a LB before the end of January or a CB since Bonera was atrocious last match.
i dont want milan to sign a old player like capdevila they should rather go for andres santos of brazil or mitchel bastos.
i think milan should sign andres santos of fernabeche but a brazilian and they always played very well at milan.
