“After a specialist consultation with Dr Piero Volpi, a surgical intervention was advised.”

It now remains to see whether Pippo will be able to play football again, as he’s 37. His love for the game never stopped, but he might be forced to quit.

Sorry to hear this news. I wish for his speedy recover. He is a true professional with great enthusiasm. This may not be such a bad news for Milan as this is the perfect time to move for Cassano as Inzaghi replacement. Please get Cassano! Forza Milan

Surprise us again by continuing for a couple more years and have an early return to the squad!!!!!!!

Tragic news…

Poor Pippo, I wish you a speedy recovery.

Galliani U better renew super pippo’s contract.

i am so sad, dejected and worried by this news. anyways …GOD DEY

man… this is really a bad news for Milan and Milanista… i hope milan will sign a centre forward on january, because we just have ibra in that position….

Dedicated this video to him…

We needed him. Most importantly, he still played like a young player full of vigor. We really needed him this season as we have no natural center forward. Ibra plays the same position as Pato. He’s no target man.

At least he broke all records….

Still, I await for a speedy recovery.

This is awful news. Pippo the Legend Forever!!

I dont like old Players but Pippo Inzaghi is exceptional together with Sandro Nesta

oh no
i don,t want to see he finishing his carrier in this way. i will pray to god for speedy recover.

Get well soon pippo .. total legend

PPS.. Wheres ronnie ? I think jack was right he gone to the L.A galxey forum

i…i…i don’t know what to say. Before he join Milan in 2002, i really don’t like he’s playing style. But after he weared Milan shirt, than i understand that he’s playing style is complex and always give enemy defenders a big headache. Even Mourinho still amazed with his ability. So, we hope that u have a speedy recovery Pippo 🙂

A true legend…hope he sign another contract with Milan…

Pippo don´t give up!! you´re a hero!!

sad sad… now ACM needs another experienced foward. get Forlan or Benzema to replace Inzaghi.Paloschi would be amazingly great to get back. Dont get Ganso and Neymar. let them stay in brazil and mature for a year or so. try to get a defender. no need to sell a defender if we need one (bonera would be an exeception if we could get amuari out of it). i wouldnt mind seeing bastian come to strengthen our midfield. get rid of ronaldinho. get Honda and have seedorf as a AM sub. in the summer of 2012 get ganso and neymar. then… Read more »
