AC MILAN took a look over the partnership Thiago Silva and David Luiz.
Brazil have found the second generation to replace Lucio and Juan, and it is Thiago Silva and David Luiz and Milan would like to have the Benfica man playing alongside Silva not only in the national team, but also in the club.
According to sportmediaset, the Rossoneri observed the defensive duo T. Silva and David Luiz in action during the match of Brazil against Iran, where the Selecao won 3-0.
Milan – 6 players go out of contract in 2011
Pato: ‘If I’ll leave, it will be for Barcelona’
Benfica understood they can’t keep Luiz (23) as he wants to move to a bigger club and Milan are keen on bringing the player to Italy and they are preparing a €20 million for the player whose contract expires in 2016.
Meanwhile, also Chelsea want to sign the player in the summer, but Milan are also relying on the great relationships with Benfica Sporting Director Manuel Rui Costa.

Great to hear…. If this is true , 5o % of the defence is rock solid and complete for the next 5 years , now similiar scouting should be done for a couple of wing backs in thier early twenties, So Milan plays with youngsters in the team and all the 3o yr olds are benched , and should be used on as super subs .Experience still is important part of the game….and a strong bench does put the opponents on tenter hooks. ADVANTAGE Milan!!!!!
Thats more like it..hope its true. Now lets complete the signings of Honda, Poli, Lazzari, Coates, De Silvestri, Ganso, Criscito, El Shaarawy and Bale.
Hopefully a couple from that list will be playing for us next season
great news but I don’t think that he would want to be on the bench we could always move silva to right back he could then push up more but what should e done if buy him and loan him back for a year them give nesta one more year and take him back layer that would mayb get his tag down a lot
Take it easy man. Dont rush it. You think to much lol. Let get messi ronaldo rooney also
David Luiz would be the ideal signing to replace Nesta when he chooses to retire. Clearly Thiago Silva and him have a great connection in the back and are a great force, just like the Nesta/Silva connection this year.
If Milan can bring in David Luiz and Gareth Bale and Luca Antonini can stay consistent throughout the season, Milan will have a back-line that no one will be able to break.
Let him come and play alongside with Nesta for a couple match. Than after gain Nesta knowledge, he can make a pair with Silva.
more italian please…enough brasilian on the side. Luiz and silva are rock solid..but we need to promote primavera too
good Idea, but we should also use the youngsters we have.
he’s good but he’s not in the same level with Nesta…
And i prefer italian to replace Nesta once he is no longer the same Nesta. actually im dreaming of Chiellini if only its possible to sign him and Criscito too
wud b happy to see[defenders] luiz and coates in jan!!
and 2 top best midfeildrs!! and fullback!!
Davide Astori – is the perfect replacement for Nesta and we own half his contract as well, this would be the more feasible and realistic move :-)
Benoît Trémoulinas !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
