MASSIMO ODDO is not able to play for at least two months, following an injury he picked up in the Champions League match against Olympique de Marseille on Wednesday.
Already before the referee whistled to the end of the first half, Ignazio Abate was subbed in instead of Oddo, after he picked up and injury on Wednesday against the French side in the CL.
The early checks showed that the former Lazio right-back has picked up a gluteal strain, but the according to Milannews, the situation’s complex more than expected, and the player has torn his a muscle in his left thigh.

The injury takes the 33-years-old Italian out for two moths. This is a big woe for Milan and Coach Leonardo, who has been using the player on regular basis since he returned from his loan spell at Bayern Munich.
Under 23 Italian international Ignazio Abate will play instead of Oddo as understandable. Abate is a good wing-man but he lacks some defensive motifs – however, he will probably play until Marek Jankulovski or Oddo return.
Jankulovski has been struggling with an ankle injury now, but returned to light training on Thursday. His return would let Gianluca Zambrotta to return his natural right-back position, after playing as left-back this season.
Rino Gattuso and Marek Jankulovski are continuing their work, while next week Oguchi Onyewu will sustain a check with professor Mandelbaum, the same who operated him last October.
