SERGINHO DOESN’T think Milan’s demands can be met in Brazil, and would recommend a few players to Milan.
Serginho is Milan’s scout in Brazil but Adriano Galliani has already conceded that Brazilian players cost too much these days and it’s better to focus on Colombians. Galliani, however, is still dealing in the Brazilian market – trying to sell Binho.
Milan want €10m for Robinho but Santos insist they don’t have the money to play Milan or Robinho: “We won’t sign Robinho on these terms. No player in the world will earn €400k per month at Santos.” Serginho thinks the price is too high for Brazil.
Report: De Sciglio to extend contract to 2018
Milan: 15 players with uncertain futures
“Robinho is an important player, but there’s no Brazilian club that can afford to spend €9-10m on the Milan striker. Nobody,” Serginho told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “Someone compared Robinho’s situation to Seedorf’s? That’s wrong. Seedorf was out of contract, so Botafogo didn’t spend anything on him – only on his wages. And Seedorf’s salary is lower than Robinho’s.
“The ideal situation would be if another player was included in the deal. Rafael from Santos? He’s a good goalkeeper. Rafael reminds me of Julio Cesar because of his talents and physique. He would do well in Serie A. One year ago Milan were just a step away from reaching an agreement with Santos: Robinho to Santos and Rafael-Felipe Anderson to Milan.
“But in the end the deal broke down. It’s a pity. There aren’t any talented players at Santos now. They need work only on including a financial compensation in the deal. It’s true that Santos have earned a lot of money from the sale of Neymar, but I don’t think that they can invest more than €4.5m for Robinho. Gremio and Flamengo have also made enquiries about Robinho, but we’re not in negotiations with them, and they’re ‘old’ teams. But São Paolo have also shown interest in the player, and they have a player that could be the right one for Milan. Who I’m referring to? Osvaldo. Osvaldo is a winger.
“He is a better version of Mauro Camoranesi. He’s expensive but so is Robinho. Milan want €10m for Robinho, and São Paolo want €10m for Osvaldo, so they could negotiate. “If there are any other players that could be good enough to play for Milan? Doria from Botafogo is really good. He reminds me of Alessandro Nesta, and he’s only 18 years old. Unfortunately, he already costs €8m. The Brazilian market has gone crazy. However, Doria would already be ready for Serie A now.
“Milan already have a lot of connections with the player. Another player that I would recommend Milan to sign? Adryan from Flamengo. He’s born in 1994 and he’s a great midfielder. He has Pirloesque skills, but he’s of course not Pirlo.”
But they can sell overrated players @ an exorbitant price. jokers
Its pure greed to ask for more than 8mill for Robhino!!! Why milan wants to buy players for peanuts but want to over price there out of form 1 year contract players!!! ii makes no sense…….then management is going to say we can buy unless someone leaves!!!
BS!!!!…they can sell their players for 3 times their potential worth but can’t afford a measley €10m for Robinho????!..right…..
if there’s a player in brazil who has Pirloesque skills, then swap that guy with allegri.
I really like Doria, Galliani should keep an eye on him he is a very good player and the 8m Botafogo wants is not a problem for Milan…
get seedorf back!
I find this hard to believe given the fees they get when they sell their talent.
Didn’t Galliani give Ronaldinho to Flamengo and got an upper hand on Flamengos talent in exchange that time? Adryan from Flamengo anyone?
All d players mention are gud…bt on a second thought, dts Brazilian league nd we r toking of SERIE A…
Levels get limit!!!!
Forza Italia!! Forza Milan!!!
Calcio 4 lyf!!!!
