STEPHAN EL SHAARAWY is being tipped to start alongside Giampaolo Pazzini against Atalanta tonight.
Milan are taking on Atalanta and the Italian press already calls it a must-win for the Rossoneri if they are to stay close to the top of the league this season in hunt for a place in next year’s Champions League.
Massimiliano Allegri, who said yesterday Milan can fight for the Scudetto, admitted he has some doubts regarding the line-up in the press conference on Friday but those doubts appear to have been resolved.
Milan-Atalanta: The Rossoneri squad
Pazzini picks up right leg training-injury
According to today’s La Gazzetta dello Sport, Stephan El Shaarawy has been chosen over Bojan Krkic to start the match against Atalanta. El Shaarawy was not convincing in the first two games of the season in which he started, but had excellent performances for Italy under 21 as he scored thrice and assisted twice.
“Stephan has to think completely about Milan and doing well at Milan. His national team is now Milan,” El Shaarawy’s agent Roberto La Florio told TMW. “He must find the energy and concreteness that he showed last year with the Rossoneri and still have satisfaction. A 4-2-3-1 system? At the moment I think that the 4-2-3-1 is just a hypothesis of journalists but I don’t know exactly what formations Allegri is studying.”
Bojan Krkic is expected to be waiting for his chance on the bench again as Milan are likely to line up a 4-3-1-2 with Nigel De Jong, Massimo Ambrosini and Urby Emanuelson and Kevin-Prince Boateng playing trequartista. Ignazio Abate is ready to go and is expected to start while Philippe Mexes will be on the bench.
Probable XI: Christian Abbiati; Ignazio Abate, Francesco Acerbi, Daniele Bonera, Luca Antonini; Nigel De Jong, Max Ambrosini, Urby Emanuelson; Kevin-Prince Boateng; Giampaolo Pazzini, Stephan El Shaarawy.
Abbiati; Abate, ZAPATA!!!!, Acerbi, DE SCIGLIO!!!; De Jong, NOCERINO!!!; Emanuelson, Boateng, El Shaarawy; PAzzini
How about me? I’m the best among everyone!

honestly, it annoys me when the press leaks our most probable lineup before the game. it should be a surprise to the press and fans. I hope Allegri fields: Abate-Zapata-Acerbi-De Sciglio-De Jong-Ambrosini-Emanuelson-Boateng-Bojan-Pazzini. SES92, Antonini and Constant should come on as subs
Now I Know That Allegri Can Be Sack This Year… Coach with No Ambition…!!! But I Still Say FORZA-MILAN
Pazzini and Abate purpose to start from the bench…
lol y would he bench Nocerino?
Y did max love starting italian bonera ahead of zapata again
Hell! I hate our defence! Why aren’t Zapata and De Scilgio starting. Old Bonera and Yepes are just old to run up against. Best defence = scudetta. Forza milan
jst what i expected. I’m tipping el-sha for our man of d match.
my line up against Atalanta.
Abiati
Abate—Bonera—Yepes—Antonini
Kpb—De jong—Nocerino
Bojan–Pazzo–Ses92
This guy is nt a coach at all what happen to de sciglo dat he is nt on the pitch if this is the formation den I will sit down at home and watch him get sacked. Forza milano abbiati, abate, accerbi, mexes, sciglo, dejong, ambro, emmanuel, boateng, pazzo, sharawy
u guys dt are clamouring 4 zapata need to tell urselves d truth: at d moment, bonera is a better option. Having watched zapata against juve i realised dt he’s gonna need time to gain back his confidence. And stop being biased about ants, he’s bn one of our best players this yr.
i think people want zapata because he’s fast… if he played with the slower acerbi, it would be kind of like silva and nesta. personally though, i don’t mind as long as at least one of acerbi/zapata starts every game. its not advisable to start with a brand-new defensive pairing until at least somewhere midseason.
horrible possible 11 ..only a 4 3 3 or 4 2 3 1 will benefit milan this seasoni prefer the second one
Abbiati
Abate Zapata Acerbi De Sciglio
De Jong Nocerino
El Shaaraawy Boateng Bojan Krkic
Pazzo
El Shaaraawy played well for italy as he played a winger behind the striker Immobile .. Emanuelson should also be put into consideration instead of Bojan according to there form
Please can some one tell me the nigerian time for today’s match
@Achida d tym is 7.45pm Nigerian tym.
It’s 7:45pm dude… Boa has a goal!
He did well for Italy’s U21 because they play with a decent formation suited to their players
NOCERINO
allegri could be playing ambrosini and de jong in front of the defence with a 4-2-3-1 formation with emanuelson and el shaarawy on the wings and boateng behind pazzini
I think you’re giving him too much credit!
just trying to think positive but ur right he probably wont but if he did well cant do anything but be happy
Did u ppl think that allegri wil drop nocerino.even if he play bad this season.as for bonera, allegri lov his men more than new players.dnt be suprise to see mexes nd bonera.
all i nd is milan must win all of deir match frza milan, hope elsharawy av a gr8t season 1 luv milan.
good luck allegri. remember, another lost at home means you are fired. keep using 4312 with boateng as a fake trequartista will not save you, max. i am sure you will be sacked if you don’t change the formation.
gabriel + zapata = 2 non-eu players not used..
Lol.
thank u @milanfan, my point exactly.
very good
