ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC has thanked Milan but already looks forward to his new life at PSG.
Ibrahimovic is officially a player of Paris Saint-Germain after signing a three-year contract today which makes him earn a double digit number every season (some sources say it’s €13 million, other €14-15m).
Ibra was presented today (Wednesday) right after another new Psg player – Marco Verratti, who joined the French side from Pescara. Zlatan says joining Paris Saint-Germain was his decision and thanks Milan.

Sampdoria rule out Cassano return
“I’m happy, I’m finally a PSG player. I’m happy for the club, for the fans – it is an interesting project which I want to be part of. I now want to make history and win,” Ibra told the press. “I’m very happy that I was at Milan. They gave me my smile back. I’ll always have great memories of Milan. They’ll remain in my heart.
“I wish Milan good luck with everything. They were successful before I joined them and they will continue to be successful. I gave Milan my best and I have nothing negative to say. I just have a positive vision. I said that my contract with Milan would be my last, but you never know what will happen in life. I don’t want to think about the past, just the future. No one at Milan influenced me to do anything,” continued the Swede.
“It was my own choice to come to PSG. As soon as PSG made contact with my people then I knew that I would join. It was just a matter of details. I want to thank PSG for the great work which they have done, for making the impossible possible. I’ve come to a Dream Team. They’ve other great players; they’ve bought the best defender in the world – Thiago Silva. As long as he’s behind me, I don’t have to look back.

“Who doesn’t want to be here? PSG will win trophies. This is the future. There are not many teams like ours. We can be in the top 5 or top 3 in the world, but we must go out and play. Losing both Thiago Silva and I is a big loss. Both for Milan but also for Italy. Serie A will be a bit poorer now that Thiago and I have left.
“The French league will be more interesting now. I don’t see any future in Italy. What happens there is their own problem. The future is here, and I’m here now.” Ibrahimovic believes that Paris Saint-Germain is the future of football in Europe. With their money, Psg can buy whoever they want and they’ve showed that.
Ibrahimovic also admitted that he’s not quite familiar with the teams and players in Ligue 1 and said that he considers Psg on the same level as Milan. After two years in red & black, Ibrahimovic leaves.

“The French league will be more interesting now.”
That’s wrong. it is just for PSG fans intersting and funny. for years the Ligue 1 was the balanced league in europe, but now there is a superpower and then nothing.
ibra ur a big fool, with a big mouth ,italy will now be poor,it will at ur own suprise how italain team will dominate ufea.i wish u will have the chance to play milan in ufea.
We need a great striker to replace him, someone who can be a great partner with pato
i hope pato never get injury, he is great but he is a very injury prone player
what a sad day lets see what galliani will do now <3 milan bye bye thiago and ibra
Farewell to a great Striker in the pwerson of Zlatan Ibrahimovic,I wish him all the Best in PSG, But he should know that Milan is a moving train and has always been a top class European team any time,The Milan management needs money to Bankroll the club hence the sale of Zlatan and Silva.
Now im just hoping we make some gud transfers and draw ourselves in the same group as PSG.. I know we will thrash dem..
Hoping for the same too dude.
And who says Serie A would be poorer bcos u have left?. In fact you are a big joke!
Ibra being the arrogant prick he is like always…..SMH.

It was Galliani why Ibra left. I’m happy Ibra left Milan. It was obvious that Pato didnt have a chemistry with Ibra. Sometimes when then were on the pitch together I could see that they dont get along.
I would rather see Pato and El Shaarawy become stars at Milan than have Ibra keeping them back since the team only played for him!
Lewandoski, Damiao, Dzeko, Tevez or Rossi will do fine. The team will play better without Ibra. Mark my words!
Ligue 1 is garbage and will always be garbage compared to Serie A, EPL, La Liga, and the Bundesliga! I rather watch the Turkish league that Ligue 1 any day!
I respect you but please respect italy….who told you that you are the only star in italy, watch for ramirez, monty el sharaway. Meet me in uefa and i tear you off.
milan is better without ibra it will make us play like a team instead of 1 man that flop around in a big match.ibra u suck big cow.
I DONT HAV NEGATIVE THING TO SAY ABOUT MILAN, LATER MILAN WIL NOT GET PLAYER LIKE HIM & SILVA AGAIN AND D WHOLE SERIE A , THERE IS NO FUTURE PLAYER IN MILAN NOW AND THEY WIL POOR , WELL THANK U IBRA UR SOUL WIL ASK U INSHA-ALLAH, 4 ME I WISH MY MILAN GOOD LUCKY
ibra is a big fool, milan sold stars b4 him bt stil movin he cn’t even play well ,i put my trust in pato
Ibra i respect u nd wot u believe in and ur opinion, but i beg your pardon how dare u say SERIE A will be a bit poorer without U! I say HELL NO! Not in a million times Serie A has alwaways been known to be a very competitve, entertaining and to cap it up a very balanced league. IBRA let me remind u of world stars that have left Serie A yet d league remains highly rated – Van Basten, Gullit, Vialli, Ronaldo, Zidane,Thuram, Nedved, George Weah, Kaka etc just to name a few all this are international… Read more »
Its very sad Galliani is selling the club’s honour and respect b’cos of money. Lets face it, seria A is dying and has no dignity b’cos of a visionless and aimless club owners. The problem is if they can’t run the clubs they shd sell them. Seria A is dying.
Typical Ibra. Talented but Proud. Mr Ibrahimovic, there is a reason why inspite of Lyons dominance of the French league, they never did well in the Champions League. The league is a poor league. And Sir, there is also a reason why inspite of the names in Manchester City, they where eliminated in the group stage last season and even had to wait till the last minute to win the Premiership. Big names alone can bring domestic success but never European Success. Just ask Real Madrid. I thank you for what you brought to Milan but know one thing, you… Read more »
Grande Milan! Grand Serie A!! Grand Italia!!!
Poor haters LMAO Serie A has no stars because UEFA says so and all the journalists who have a vote too. This year Pirlo got lucky to be included. Ibra holding Pato back? Pato has been injured the whole season I doubt Ibra was the reason Pato got injured. Pato has missed over 50 games because of it. And Milan weren’t actually winning the Serie A prior to Ibra either exactly.
To resentful haters who can not appreciate Ibra and dishing out at Ligue1 are just pathetic. Grow up people.
most of readers in this blog:
1. love the management when they sign big stars, but thrash them and insult them when they sale those stars.
2. love the players when they play for Milan, but then insult them when they leave for another club.
they’re all like a bag of STUPID ultras who insult Il Grande Capitano Paolo Maldini on his last game for Milan (against Roma, 2009).
you should feel shame.
SPOT ON!
if it were not because the sales of our superstars (ex: Sheva, Kaka, and the latest duo) we’re already a serie-B club.
Those “Superstars” don’t bleed red, don’t sweat black
They want gold + the club needs gold = inevitable sell
so ftw!
Yeah I remember that game so clearly even his shirt being tossed out. Really despicable.
“Milan and PSG are on the same level”?? its like saying you and Messi are on par. too bad he thought he would be missed.
You guys honestly think he didn’t want to stay at Milan if everything was ok? He even said during the press conference that the reason he left…well I do not wish to overshadow everythign that was so great in Milan. He also said he was happy in Milan. Galliani and Berlusconi wanted the cash so they sold him and somethign tells me Ibra wasn’t happy with what Galliani and Berlu was doing behind the scenes and left. I for one wish him good luck in Psg and I also think it will be hard to replace him. As for the… Read more »
