ROBERTO LA FLORIO expects Stephan El Shaarawy to do even better next year and improve at Milan.
El Shaarawy’s future appears to be at Milan after all sides denied a possible move of the youngster on loan this summer. The forward will remain at Milan and will try to find even more space in the 12/13 term.
Milan spent a figure close to €20 million to sign El Shaarawy completely from Genoa. El Shaarawy is considered one of the brightest prospects in Italy and his agent says he has to play even better next year.
Santos: “No contact with Robinho”
Torino-Milan: Negotiations underway for Mesbah
“Stephan’s destiny is in his own hands, or rather, his own feet,” Roberto La Florio told calcionews24.com on Tuesday. “Next year Stephan not only has to confirm himself as a Milan player – he also has to improve. Stephan did well last year. He played around 20 matches, made assists and also scored a few goals.
“Stephan could have done better last season and therefore he has to improve next season. Those who play for clubs like Milan, Juve, Inter or Real Madrid can’t have transitional years. You always have to be on top.” El Shaarawy, who will be turning 20 next October, played 28 games last season for the Rossoneri.
El Shaarawy is one of 5 forwards at Milan. It’s unlikely that he’ll be given a starting role next year as competition is stiff but he’ll have the 1st part of the pre-season to impress, unlike most of the other ones.

Stephan would be the back of milan team and the azzuri in next few years. Just give him time and minutes to play. I’d rather to play el sharaawy instead of robinho. He reminds me about Kaka. Typically direct player who able to dribble the ball with his quick feet and towards the goal.
Which him best of luck. According too football italian Julio Cesar will switch too Milan after inter refuse with the aggrement btw. What a BAD NEWS.
I’m looking forward to next season very much, mostly to see his and De Sciglios development, I hope they can keep up what they’ve done and improve from last season, and this time Stephan will also get his pre season, last season he was injured and had to rehab.
I hope he’ll do better this season …and he’ll get more chances ..
i luv to see him and pato
wish u best of luck SES.please try to covince the management and fans that u’re the main truely future.forza milan
Why are we selling our attacking midfielders, and when we finaly got one we play him as striker and FORCE a leftback play as attacking midfielder.
I really cant understand this, i think if milan got xavi and iniesta for free, allegri would play xavi as second striker and ineista as rightback
