TORINO are interested in signing Djamel Mesbah and negotiations are already underway, it’s reported.
Milan have many left-backs, although none of them is a true starter – according to Mauro Tassotti – and it appears that one left-back is already on his way out and it’s Djamel Mesbah as Torino want him.
Mesbah joined Milan in January from Lecce and apart from a few good games he failed to impress when given a chance, so Milan – it appears – are now considering to let him go and Turin move looks feasible.

According to the online portal of La Gazzetta dello Sport and Sky reporter Gianluca Di Marzio, Torino President Urbano Cairo arrived to Milan’s headquarters at via Turati earlier on Tuesday to try and find an agreement with Milan for the 27-year-old Algeria national team player. A deal looks likely to be found.
Milannews.it claims that a deal will be found and the sides just need to decide whether Mesbah will join Torino on co-ownership like Milan want or on loan with option to buy him next season, like Torino want.
Milan are also expected to let go of Taye Taiwo who said before that he has no intention of going back to Milan after a loan spell. Should both leave, Luca Antonini and Didac Vila would be the only LB choices.

why do Milan want co-ownership? either way, didac and antonini are enough for left backs, specially as mentioned above that urby and de sciglio can play there too.. i’m really excited to see what didac vila’s all about though!

Milan need to keep Mesbah and sell emanuelson. Emanuelson disappointed with his performances last year while Mesbah was solid when given chance to prove.
Urby, a LB, disappointed at Trequartista (surprise, surprise) but did well the few times he was played at his natural position and we should sell him? Not only sell him, but sell him and keep another LB who, aside from his debut looked lost when played at that position? That sir, is absurd.
WTF?! Urby was given a chance to play left-back only three times last season and he impressed on those occasions, two assists. And he was fielded as left-back midway through the game, so it was surely impressive.

Great, and let go of Taiwo. Very good, but just sell him outright, if we can get 2-3 million for him (Mesbah) it will be a very good piece of business, oh what the hell, he can leave for 1-2.
We should be able to get at least 4-5 million for Taiwo now shouldn’t we, it would be great as well since he came on a free transfer. Keep this up and let go of the dead weight and make room for new faces.

the same applies on Taiwo Co ownership, sale outright, loan with option to buy… anything would do. But i doubt any of the midfielders would leave as most of them has just been signed or too good to be sold. i’m still curious how the squad will be cut to 25 players. hope Didac stays. Allegri though doesnt seem to like him fool

Emanuelson is not a fullback….he is a natural winger and we should stop using as a lb option…we now should focus on getting a lb after mesbah and taiwo depart..

selling urby, robinho & taiwo would make sence; 1. Urby as a cam failed, his defending will be a problem at lb & milan don’t play wings. 2. Robinho won’t get any better & with pato fit again, he can only disturb el sha’s development. Plus if we can strike a deal with santos for ganso in exchange. 3. Taiwo is useless period.
