Official: Chaka Traorè leaves Milan and joins Palermo on loan with option to buy

Chaka Traorè has left Milan and moved to Serie B with an option to make his stay at Palermo permanent.

Traorè has been a part of the first team this season, training with the squad at Milanello and getting involved in a few matches, even scoring once in the Coppa Italia and once in Serie A.

The player, who grew up in the youth sector of the Rossoneri, today leaves the club to start a new adventure in Serie B at Palermo.

“Milan can confirm that Chaka Traorè has joined Palermo FC on loan until 30 June 2024, with the option to make the deal permanent. The Club would like to wish Chaka all the best for the rest of the season,” a statement reads.

According to Sky Italia, the buy-out clause of Palermo for Chaka is €8m plus bonuses, while Milan will also have a 15% of a future resale.
