Luka Romero will play in La Liga in the second half of the season.

Romero arrived in the summer as a free agent but never really found space under Stefano Pioli, playing just a handful of times with the Rossoneri jersey.

The 19-year-old is looking for playing time and after interest from Como in Serie B and Boca Juniors in Argentina, he’s chosen to spend the second half of the season on loan at Almería.

“Milan can confirm that Luka Romero has joined UD Almería on loan until 30 June 2024. The Club would like to wish Luka all the best for the remainder of the season,” a statement reads.

A loan is most ideal, though Almeria and for 6 months might not be the best option, an 18 month loan with a club not threatened by relegation would have been the best
