Rade Krunić will miss quite a few days due to the injury he suffered this week.

Ever since the start of the season, Krunić has been an undisputed started for coach Stefano Pioli who uses the Bosnian in the role of the holding midfielder.

However, Pioli will now have to do without one of his key men for a while, as Krunić picked up an injury during the match on Saturday against Hellas Verona.

Krunić underwent medical tests today and as reported by Milannews.it, Rade has suffered a right hamstring injury.

His condition will be re-evaluated in 10 days. He will therefore definitely miss the Cagliari, Lazio, Borussia Dortmund and Genoa games, and could be out for even more matches. He will not return before the next international break and could make his return against Juventus on October 22.

There are some positive news coming out of Milanello, however, as Mike Maignan and Theo Hernández both trained regularly with the group today and should be fit for Cagliari. Davide Calabria still followed personalized work today, while Pierre Kalulu worked in the gym.

In the place of the injured Krunić, Pioli will deploy one of Tijjani Reijnders and Yacine Adli, who he considers suitable to play in the role of the holding midfielder.
