Milan will face Paris Saint-Germain, Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle in the upcoming Group Stage of the Champions League.

After finishing the previous season in 4th place, Milan found themselves in Pot 3 of the Champions League Group Stage draw.

Today in Monaco, the draw for the Group Stage of the competition took place and Milan, represented by Honorary Vice President Franco Baresi Club Ambassador Daniele Massaro, learned their opponents.

Milan are in the Group of Death with 3 strong teams: the Rossoneri have drawn Luis Enrique’s Paris Saint-Germain, Edin Terzić’s Borussia Dortmund and Eddie Howe’s Newcastle. Two former players will return to San Siro: Gianluigi Donnarumma with PSG and Sandro Tonali with Newcastle.

The group stage begins 19th/20th of September and ends 12th-13th of December with 3 home and 3 away matches played. The top two teams in each group will qualify for the knockout stages.

Tough draw considering what Inter, and Lazio got. In all simulations, Milan was destined to be in the group of death. It could’ve been worse, no team is easy but at the same time no team is unbeatable here either.
Tonali’s homecoming will certainly be a story

We could’ve won the league and had an easy fixture but nah, let’s throw the season fire Maldini, overhype new signings, and call it a day.

Newcastle that’s some twisted irony of life. Tonalli must be like me, in tears.
