The last details have been agreed between all parties: CDK will next week become a new Atalanta player.

De Ketelaere was Milan’s biggest signing last summer, arriving from Club Brugge for €35m but he failed miserably in his first campaign with the Rossoneri, scoring no goals and providing 1 assist.

The Rossoneri put Charles on the market and they found an agreement with Atalanta over the 22-year-old Belgian.

A deal has been struck between Atalanta and the Diavolo with the following formula: €3 million for a loan with a buy-out option set at €23m and his salary entirely paid by Atalanta. In addition, there are €4m of bonuses and also 10% of a future resale owed to the Rossoneri.

In the last few days there was a slowdown in the deal due to the commission demands of the people of De Ketelaere’s camp. However, as reported by Milannews.it and by Relevo’s Matteo Moretto, today (Saturday), a total agreement has been reached between all parties and De Ketelaere will complete his move to Atalanta next week.

Documents are expected to be exchanged between the clubs on Monday or Tuesday and the player will also have his medical. Milan will not have a buy-back for De Ketelaere and so these could be his last days at the club.

Time for Gasperini to show Pioli how to use a player properly.
