Done deal between Milan and Villarreal for Chukwueze, the forward will not travel to the USA for the training camp

Samuel Chukwueze is practically a Milan player, with the medical probably happening tomorrow, but he’ll stay at Milanello afterwards due to Visa issues.

The final bureaucratic details have been completed, the documents between the clubs have been reviewed and exchanged, and according to, all that’s now left is for Chukwueze to get on a plane and fly to Milano.

Milan and Villarreal have agreed on everything and the Nigerian right-winger will join the Rossoneri for €20m plus €8m of bonuses, some of which are easy to reach while others are difficult to reach.

It remains to be seen whether Samu, who could reportedly wear the #22 jersey at Milan, will be in Italy today or tomorrow (Wednesday is likelier), but what’s clear is that he will not join the team in the United States.

This is because there are some Visa issues and permits to take care of in his case, and since these things take time, Chukwueze will instead immediately start working at Milanello and wait for his new teammates and new coach to return from the pre-season tour.

Chukwueze is the 7th (but not last) signing of the summer, after Marco Sportiello, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Luka Romero, Christian Pulisic, Tijjani Reijnders and Noah Okafor.

I think, this squad of 2023 so far is the best Milan squad in last 15 yrs

As I said when we sold Tonali…expect titles this season !!!

Moussa diaby is way better, this guy doesn’t have consistency

the management will return the guy and sign your moussa diaby tomorrow

Mark my words chukwueza will not fulfill the hype around him, we should have add money and buy diaby
