Gabbia reportedly close to moving to Villarreal on a loan deal, Fulham offer Milan €4 million to buy Ballo-Touré

Matteo Gabbia and Fodé Ballo-Touré are on their way out.

Milan have officially signed 6 players this summer, with the 7th signing – Samuel Chukwueze – probably joining on Monday, and now they need to make some exits.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Italia, Gabbia attracted the interest of Villarreal, and the move of the center back to Spain is now close.

The 23-year-old Italian is expected to leave Milan on a loan deal, with no option to buy in favor of the Spanish club. Gabbia could therefore very soon leave the United States training camp and head to Spain for the medical and signatures.

Meanwhile, Fodé Ballo-Touré has two offers in hand: one from Fulham who are offering Milan €4m to sign the player permanently, and one from Bologna who want him on loan with option to buy. Milan obviously prefer the bid of the Premier League side, but it remains to be seen whether the left-back will push to stay in Italy. With Gabbia and FBT on the way out, it’s therefore expected that Milan will make signings in defense.

There will likely be a midfield signing as well, with Yunus Musah of Valencia the top target. Relevo’s Matteo Moretto reports that there’s some distance between offer and request, but Milan are optimistic they can get it over the line.
