Giorgio Furlani spoke briefly to the press as Milan started a new season.
After the summer break, Milan are finally back at Milanello to train ahead of the new season, and today was the first public outing for the new sporting leadership of Milan, led by CEO Furlani, Head of Scouts Geoffrey Moncada, and new Director of Sport Antonio D’Ottavio.
Furlani, who replaced Ivan Gazidis last season, faced the press today to give a brief statement:
“The season begins. The objectives for this season are the same as always in the five years since we have been here: to be competitive in Italy and in Europe. We are all focused on the market, but the work is also organizational, with regards to the infrastructure, so we can help Milan grow in various ways and in solid fashion.
“Some people talked about Year Zero: this is Milan’s 124th year, Year Zero is not right. It is an evolution we started five years ago and will continue to improve the club, trying to achieve even better results.“
You didn’t start sh*t, back then you were still an obeying little bank accounting c*nt. Now you are Cardinale’s little accounting c*nt. Can’t wait till Moncada stabs you in the back with Cardinale’s blessing, same as you stabbed our icon.
Don’t you know.. Our objective in Serie A is the same as 20th place Sampdoria who got relegated this season and our objective in Europe is the same as EVERY confederation league team as well. EXCITING TIMES. LMFAO
Didn’t target one normal CM to replace Tonali. We got 70M, use it for something… 35M could have gone for Koopmeiners, 25M for Reijnders, 8M Carlos Augusto. Loftus-Cheeck and Pusilic used up our initial 35M budget… Use CDK for 1 season only as a RW, let him have his chance. 15M from the sales use it for ST, maybe since Cuenca and Romero are there Saelemkaers can make that 35M? go for a good striker… Oh and most importantly sign KAMDAAA
