Believe!

Ross Oneri

Why not bench Calabria? He had the worse performance 1st leg and poor against Spezia.

Hoping for the best.

Gbenga AJOSE

I have said it too that Calabria should be dropped..I just hope he won’t be the same avenue to Inter to penetrative our defence

K INC

Cancel Diaz’s contract

Milancrazyfan

Obsolutly. 3 good games, then 25 bad games= cancel.

Gbenga AJOSE

I agree with u. That guy is not a consistent player. Unless Madrid can sell for 10.Otherwisw kick him away. That guy has zero killer instincts

Nesta1

Need a first half goal put them under pressure

Calm down

Pioli to the players “let’s put the opponent under pressure. Pass the ball around in our own half with slow pace please and only attack with predictable long balls. That would be good pressure”

Ted

Diaz is just too weak. Always has been.

Dan Ban

he actually hasnt been… but he over-does it. He holds his own against one guy, problem is he keeps running and holding the ball. Next thing he sees is 2-3 guys. easy pickings

K INC

Constant over dribbling and holding by Diaz.

Gems

Diaz losing the ball every time
and miss the sitter we needed
get him off , he’s our weakest link

Gems

See he lost the ball again get him off please
or we got no chance

Dan Ban

and as always, the problem is, no bench. I would put Diaz on the right, put either CDK or Pogeba in the middle. we got nothing to lose at this time

Emmy

If Milan believes we will be in the final but where’s the spirit?
where’s the true AC Milan spirit
where is the spirit of Kaka against Celtic
where is the spirit of Shev against Lyon
where is the spirit of Inzaghi against Bayern
Savic against Barca
Boban against Benfica
where is the spirit of Arricho Sacchi
capelo

Nesta1

Sadly we haven’t those quality players anymore

Oluwashevy

The spirit as gone to evil forest

K INC

We need to fend off everyone from Mike and Leao above all else, without them we’d be in oblivion. And Giroud needs to be replaced, he’s done well but it seems age has caught up to him we need someone who can be truly lethal in front of goal.

Bruno

Giroud can be useful as a rotation option, but he can’t be number 1 or our only choice. We need a proper striker, a proper right winger, right back and a creative midfielder. Not gonna happen since most of the money we made from CL this year will go to cover our losses of failing to qualify next year. Let’s see what chances the owners are willing to make.

K INC

So many loose touches and headers when there’s the time to bring it down and look for a good pass, it’s infuriating.

Dan Ban

Honest review, we are playing terrible. Inter owns us at this point. Diaz constantly overdribbles, Leao has been swamped, Giroud cant do anything between 3 CBs. Our 2 bright spots are obviously Mike and Tonali who at least is trying hard.
At this point, put Diaz on the right. He’s been more efficient there, and enter Pobega or CDK (or Rebic if we go all out) in the middle. We got nothing to lose. Either go for gold or give the kids some minutes.

K INC

I enjoyed Messisas Cinderella tale last season but it’s time to go, forgetting all our other issues if we had a right winger half as dangerous as Leao we’d be killing teams.

Rossi

Same thing as always. Slow unprecise passing, bad shooting, bad long balls that never work, just pass side to side. Not even a bit of urgency worthy for CL semi final.

Echo

Krunic is terrible. Very slow on the ball and bad defending.. Diaz should have buried that ball and needs to stop overdribbling

K INC

Well we should start praying now to the footballing gods that we somehow pull off top four or else I don’t know what happens to this team.

Emmy

Bring in Origi and CDK we have nothing to lose
these guys will change the game

Elliotazzuri

Change what game, they is no attacker pioli put from the bench that can make a difference

Nesta1

Where’s the red card for stamp?

Gems

Yes that’s a red card in my book
stamp on a guys foot on purpose
what a cunt

Dindudre

You would think we’re the ones defending a lead if you just walked into this game. Smdh. These back passes and long balls piss me offfff! Get Diaz out this damn game

Emmy

Pioli remove Dias remove Dias this local coach remove Dias

Gems

Diaz and Messias should have been subbed off Early , but clueless Pioli couldn’t see that .
we need a new coach , Pioli has done his dash.
we need a semi rebuild to get rid off all the deadwood to , bennacer injury hurt us badly

K INC

Lol 70 plus minutes and the bald idiot made no change besides the injury

Dindudre

That was the most confused I’ve ever seen any defense in my life! oh my fucking God!!

K INC

Fire this bald idiot fraud, #Pioliout

Meer

Messias and Diaz man of the match……bye bye champions league and season

Gems

Yeah great game diaz , missed a sitter
and gave the ball away in decent positions 15 times . Sorry I personally would have started saleemakers
ahead of Messias , saleemakers has been in decent form to me . Cdk couldn’t have done any worse than Diaz today

Emmy

It’s all over
pioli is not Milan standard
he doesn’t read the game
he’s mediocre coach

K INC

Lol and is idea is to bring Origi on.

K INC

What has happened to Kalulu? Terrible defending.

Rossi

He has always been just speed mate. Defending was never his top trait. Last season he only played as a CB in a couple of games at the end of the season when others were tired. That gave him some advantage, but even then he was prone to mistakes. In general that’s why you don’t judge a player on just a couple of games.

K INC

But this was basic marking, just left Latuaro for no reason. It’s just basic sense.

Rossi

I was speaking about this much earlier in the season. He lacks awarnes. Prob didn’t even notice Lautaro. Remember how he tackled Thiaw in another game? Same thing he didn’t even notice where Thiaw was on the pitch. He is a good runner tho. So RB, RWB or maybe DM where he can run a lot is prob best for him.

K INC

Krunic is garbage, Saladmaker is garbage, Origi is garbage, Messias is garbage, Diaz is garbage, the bench is garbage, Pioli is garbage. When you have this much garbage it’s no wonder you stink!

Dan Ban

Pioli has done some good, but I think this is his ceiling. The rest 100% agree. Diaz maybe rotation player. not sure. But we 2-3 starters. Krunic is bench, Saladman is bench, Mesissas is bench. NONE are starters

Milancrazyfan

Well, if this season is being labeled as a failure, than people must be accountable. Starts with pioli that can’t seem to adapt to new tactics and the poor form of some of his players. Menagment for not adding any strength to the team. Next season will look completely different with our lineup, hopefully better. Personally i would bring in a new coach, as i feel pioli’s era is over, despite overarching his and team’s capabilities. But that’s just my opinion.

K INC

How is the squad going to look better when were looking down the barrel of no champions league and cheap incompetent ownership?

Gems

4 derby’s in a few months for 4 losses
and failed to score in all 4 …. Pathetic
And it hurts

This season can be considered a failure only if we don’t qualify for the Champions League, otherwise the success (miracle) achieved by the players this season (semi-finals of the Champions League) is equal to last year’s (Champions of Italy) so be patient, let’s see if we qualify for the Champions League i think yes (Juve will get points deducted or banned from UEFA either)

Elliotazzuri

Blame pioli all you like, no good is going to come to milan from any new coach, unless milan start buying actual good players, and not reserve or relegation club players, i thank mister pioli for making me enjoy milan, for the past couple of years, i really don’t want to go back to the mid table era, that why am begging the owner to please sign actual good players

Rossi

Have in mind that Inter had Acebri and Darmian as starters. Two Milan youth players that never made it in to Milan first team, but under Inzaghi they are suddenly top players. The coach makes the difference.

Dindudre

Thank you Rossi!!! The coach makes a HUGE difference.

Elliotazzuri

Acerbi and damian ain’t even regular starter, inter have a far bigger better squad than milan how much was correa boughten, he was a first team player in lazio, but he is being use as a bench warmer, if inter didn’t take lukaku on loan and pay his expensive wages and loan fee, they would have lack little bit of extra to make it to the final, they offered hakan a better wages than what milan wanted to pay, if we had hakan today he would have definitely start for us, inter might be a poor as us, but their… Read more »

Ashraf

Pioli deserves respect he makes mediocre team won scudetto and reached cl semifinals what is happening today is to be blamed for the management and the owners because they are the problem either they bought cheap mediocre players or rejected free players

Aminu Yusuf

It is very simple. Inter are superior to Milan. This season Milan team is weaker than last season. The foundation is good but now Reinforcements are clearly NEEDED otherwise the project will collapse next season. It will too bad if we fail to finish Serie A in top 4. Pioli and Maldini are not the problems, as Maldini needs money to spend and Pioli need more quality players. Cardinale MUST provide the funds to strengthen the team . FORZA MILAN

Gbenga AJOSE

Kalulu is such a nightmare. Left Martinez unmarked ??????

Calm down

That was a frustrating pair of 90 minutes. Giroud must be cursing Pioli for asking the boys to send him all those long balls battling with defenders for 180 minutes!! Physically to demanding for an old man. Besides giroud is now only useful with finishing moves ,not starting them. After seeing that 90% of the long balls were either won by Inter defenders or Giroud flicking them in wrong directions (maybe teammates making wrong runs. Either way tells this tactic not well practiced) thought Pioli may try something different for this match or at least during the second half but… Read more »

Calm down

Another issue is that this team don’t press. The opponent are not going to make a mistake in possession until pressed high wholeheartedly. You either press hard or not at all. When your defense moves high, the pitch become smaller for the opponent to play out, so they are forced to throw the ball long you recover possession quicker and keep constant pressure on. Problem with half-hearted pressing is that you would hardly win the ball and same time risk leaving half your team behind when the opponent beats the press. Effective pressing is pretty risky ,however with better rewards… Read more »

Forza Milan, please give it a read guys. Maldini answers the following question to the press before the first leg. Is Milan ready to stay at this level?“In my opinion, we are not yet ready to stay at this level, but what I was trying to explain to the two American owners that I have had is that this club is special and this city is special, and very often processes are faster. We have to seize the moment because if we let this moment slip away and don’t try to reach the highest step, it would be a real… Read more »

So many people in this blog think pioli must go, if he leaves you haven’t ask yourself who milan will use to replace him, i bet most of you have forgotten giampalo, milan wil definitely not appoint a word class coach, they are going to look for a coach they can pay peanut to, our future will be a gamble on whether the new small club coach can do go or whether he will flop, we where lucky with pioli the last time, but before we got pioli how much coach have we change, let me just tell you plan… Read more »

Reality check – reaching CL semi’s with this team was a miracle no one deemed realistic at the start of the season. So we achieved more than was expected. Chill.

Domestic is what concerns me, no CL means no investments or worse, big sales.

Sam

Exactly!! I am more disappointed on Spezia’s defeat than CL’s exit. The team did very good job in CL, hats off. I didn’t even expect more at 2nd leg after the 1st leg’s result. The fact that milan is still struggling to finish at top 4 is pissed me off, especially because milan failed to pick points against the minnows. With this squad, I prefer to secure CL qulifications early than reaching Final. 3 matches left in Serie A, and we still have to face Juve.. I hope we can win all these matches, and other competitors are not doing… Read more »

Elliotazzuri

We are not making ucl this season, we should focus on building our squad for next season by offloading those garbage attacker and get a proper replacement for kessie, not lord krunic

Ted

Who’d be interested joining us without CL football? And I mean specifically bosman stars as we won’t have money to spend. No one. We’ll be stuck with Messias, Krunic, Saele and Giroud starting up front. Maybe Kamada and Arnautovic at best.
