I thought Rebic will come in for Leao….Leao plays all our matches…Wednesday match is a win or burst for us.

Nino

Exactly. A crucial UCL is up midweek and Rebic should have started today. Leão would have come in, if necessary as a game changer.

Gems

Yes I agree totally

Elliotazzuri

I know it unselfish of me but pioli should please give vrancx and thiaw a start before the world cup starts, atleast though am happy krunic ain’t starting

M M

Even though we’ll love to see them, all our rivals except lazio won. They should be subbed in the moment we’re in front tho

What a first half

Gems

Pioli lost the plot worrying about champions league

Nino

If he was worrying about Champions League, Leão shouldn’t have started. Leão basically jinxed the team. To be fair to him, Leão needed rest. How Pioli didn’t read the body language beats me. He should have been an option from the bench, because Rebic is not really a game changer. Rebic needs game time to get back to his top form.

Nino

Without Bennacer, Milan doesn’t have a midfield. Pobega can’t work with Tonali. If Bennacer is not playing, I guess Krunic is the only option, since Pioli hasn’t finished integrating Vranckx with a quarter of the season gone.

Damage control.
It’s difficult because you expect him to still deliver some magic, but Leão shouldn’t return for the second half. Rebic should replace him. Bennacer should replace Pobega as well.

AC Milan

Leao just simply needs to bury those chances.

Harris

I hope we can all see that Tomori is not in form. Leao should have scored 2 goals. The 7 million won’t just fall from the sky with his performances sometimes. Diaz is back to his usual self. Messiaz is playing outside of the pitch , and Pobega is too slow. There’s no link between the midfield and the attack but of course, this is not the first time we are seeing that. The match is lost already

Nino

You guys just attack Messias for no reason. The problem was with the midfield and Leão missing two gilt-edged chances.

Amos K. Dennis

We are playing as if the game is already won! Liberia is following.

Medioc game

Milancrazyfan

Bad performance overall. Probably they were thinking about champions league in midweek. However, well it was just bad

K INC

Horrible game, horrible line up and substitutions, horrible tactics.

Origi and Dest need to be shipped out in January and we need reinforcements everywhere from the RW-RB to GK and Mid.

Amos K. Dennis

The entire Team was plodding on the field of play tonight….Liberia is following.

Harris

Milan lost deservedly. Even the goal was a foul. They didn’t deserve to win at Verona either. It’s been a long time coming. We praise Leao we should remember days like this that he also cost us a good start to the match. Pioli should have sub off Pobega for Bennacer at halftime. Tonali was not playing badly. The whole team failed tonight, including Pioli. Champions League is not an excuse.

Jon

Seeing Pobega play 90mins means Pioli chose to lose. Losing today was Pioli’s mastermind.

SJF

This has been coming, the team is not playing well. Even during our comfortable victories over monza and Zagreb we looked weak in the middle.

They are playing kick and rush football with no patience or meaningful possession.
I think 4-3-3 is needed. Napoli play thaat system and are dynamite in attack.

I think this is the worst football we have played under pioli

Nesta1

I’ve been saying play 433 for a while, totally agree. Give vranckz a run in a 3 man midfield with Ben and tonali, we would be alot more solid. Another reason we haven’t a good 10 anyway, it just doesn’t work.

SJF

Exactly, we have a squad more suited to 433.
If you have loads of amazing forwards, which we don’t, then 4231 is an option.

Calm down

Let go Rebic and Pobega in January clumsy players

Milancrazyfan

The story of the whole season so far has been 1- midfield issues, 2 -midfield problems and midfielder getting run over. Cannot blame ben and tonali they are doing ok but always getting outnumbered. Pioli gottta figure that out tighten that department up. We’ve been conceding a lot this season because defense is exposed, unlike last season when we had clean sheets for a long stretch. Same players minus kessie. (Not saying to bring him back). Also, forwards rarely get a good service up front always looking detached from the rest of the team. Diaz is diaz 1 good game… Read more »
