Sergiño Dest focuses on what comes ahead following Milan’s defeat to Chelsea at Stadio San Siro last night.

Stefano Pioli’s plans changed completely last night in the 17′ minute as Fikayo Tomori was shown an extremely harsh red card by referee Daniel Siebert.

Pioli had to adjust and he brought on Dest for Brahim Díaz. The American right-back had a good goal-scoring chance but his efforts did not help Milan who lost 2-0 to Chelsea, one week after losing 3-0 to them at Stamford Bridge.

“It’s just a difficult match, it’s too bad that we lost but we have to look forward and I think the only thing we can do right now is just win the next few games, it’s really important, to succeed and to continue to the next round,” Dest told MilanTV at the end of the game.

On the fans: “I love the support they give us in all the games, even when we play away. I think the fans are amazing and it was not on them. I think of course it’s difficult for us if you play with one man less, but I think we still gave everything, we played with intensity and we are still in the race, so in the next games we have to make sure we give something back to the fans.”

On the squad: “Of course everyone is disappointed, losing twice in a row against Chelsea and the position in the group is different now. So we’re disappointed, today we can still be disappointed, but tomorrow we have to put the switch on and make sure we’re ready for the next games.”
