Aster Vranckx has given his first interview to MilanTV.
Vranckx joined Milan from Wolfsburg on loan for €2m with option to buy for €12m on the last day of the mercato.
After signing his contract, the 19-year-old Belgian had an interview with MilanTV:
On his arrival: “First of all, I think this is a big step in my career. I am going to try to give all my best to the Club, hopefully get Champion again.
On his mentality: “For me it just means that there are no limits in life, that you just have to keep going forward to what you always dreamed about and to never give up.”
On his qualities: “I think I’m a midfielder with a lot of running, a lot of strength, and I also have good feet.”

On talking to De Ketelaere: “I think it’s also nice that there are other Belgian players. I know Alexis and Divock but not as well as Charles. He said to me that it’s a very good Club, and the players and everything is good, so I’d feel good immediately as I arrived here, so it was what he said to me.”
On Milan: “When I think about Milan, I think more about players like Ronaldinho, Kaká… these are two players that I really like.”
On Serie A: “From what I’ve heard and what I’ve seen, it’s very tactical and there’s a lot of quality in this league that made me even more excited to come to Serie A.”

On the number 40: “It’s the number with which my career started, and I always liked it so I’m #40. From the beginning, when I was with my first team, this was the number I chose but there was no reason behind it. I had good years with this number so I take it again.”
On a message to the fans: “I’m very happy to be here and I will give all my best to the Club. I hope you guys will support me always, and we’ll make the best of it.”
