
Aster Vranckx is a new player of Milan, he will wear #40.
Milan completed the signing of Vranckx today on the last day of the transfer market, getting the 19-year-old Belgium from Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg.
The statement on the website of the Rossoneri reads: “Milan is pleased to announce that Aster Vranckx has joined the Club on loan from VLF Wolfsburg, with an option to buy.
“Born in Kortenberg in Belgium on 4 October 2002, Vranckx came through the youth ranks at KV Mechelen and made his debut in 2019. In total, he made 47 appearances and scored five goals for the Belgian side. In the summer of 2020, he moved to Germany, joining Wolfsburg, and scored two times in his 29 appearances there. With Belgium, he has represented the Under 15, Under 16, Under 19 and Under 21 levels, collecting four caps.”

Vranckx signed a contract worth €1.5m per season and if he’ll be bought out then it will be until 2027. Milan agreed to pay Wolfsburg €2m for the loan with the option set at €12m. He was already at Milanello today after undergoing his medical check-ups this morning and met with the team.
The debut of Vranckx, with #40 on his back, in the squad will be on Saturday when Milan take on Inter at a packed Stadio San Siro for the Derby della Madonnina, as part of Matchday 4 of Serie A.
