Divock Origi is almost fully back, while others are set to return to action by the end of the week.
Milan face Udinese on Saturday evening at Stadio San Siro and Stefano Pioli and the boys returned to Milanello today to begin preparations for Matchday 1.
Good news came out of the training center today as Divock Origi, the summer signing who has been injured since May, did almost the entire training session with the squad. As reported by Sky Italia, he took part in the entire session except for the final training match. He remains however in doubt for the Udinese game.
Olivier Giroud, meanwhile, should return to working with the group between tomorrow and Thursday after having muscle fatigue. Oli G will therefore be available for Matchday 1 and will compete with Ante Rebić for a starting position. Junior Messias, Milannews.it reports, did personalized work on the pitch today and should also return to group training by Thursday, after suffering an ankle problem.
Sandro Tonali, following yesterday’s tests which excluded a muscular injury, did physiotherapy today and he’ll be evaluated day by day. According to La Gazzetta he should be back for Matchday 2.
