The injuries of Sandro Tonali and Junior Messias look better than yesterday.

Tonali and Messias both left the pitch during the second half of the Vicenza friendly yesterday (6-1 win) with flexor and ankle injuries respectively.

Both players were supposed to undergo more testing at the start of the week, but according to Milannews.it, the injury of Messias is a minor one and he will not require further investigations.

The forward, who had an excellent pre-season, is already feeling better and even though he might miss the Udinese game on Saturday, he shouldn’t be out for long.

As for Tonali, he will tomorrow have tests to understand the extent of the injury. However, there is optimism about his situation and his player is also quite calm, despite having to leave the pitch and go directly into the dressing room after suffering the injury due to an unnatural movement yesterday.

Meanwhile, Olivier Giroud continued to work separately as he tries to shake off a muscle fatigue which kept him out of the friendlies on Saturday and Sunday. He will hope to face Udinese.
