Charles De Ketelaere’s adventure at Milan will begin tomorrow, he’ll be at Milanello to train on Tuesday.

After three longs weeks, Milan yesterday found an agreement with Club Brugge over Charles De Ketelaere.

Final details relating to bureaucracy had to be completed today and this evening Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky confirms that tomorrow will be the day of CDK’s arrival.

On Monday morning, the 21-year-old will have his medical and on Tuesday he’ll meet coach Stefano Pioli and his new teammates for the first time at Milanello (the Campioni d’Italia will have Monday off following the Marseille friendly tomorrow night).

Di Marzio reports that the deal is worth €36 million between fixed price (€32 million) and bonuses (some easy to reach and some hard to reach). In addition, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport and the media in Belgium, Milan will owe Club Brugge 12.5% of a future resale of CDK should the sum of that sale be over €32m. The player meanwhile will sign a five-year contract.

It remains to be seen where Pioli will choose to play De Ketelaere, as he can play basically everywhere in attack. Charles will give Milan important solutions and more quality.

With this whole fuss about Ketealere, we forgot about some of the other players the club brought in. I am genuinely interested, and it is very important for next season, how good is Origi really!? He has been at the Big Club for years and has played at the highest level, but never got the chance to show his full potential. We won’t have too much from Ibra next season, and Giroud will need help. With new players in midfield, the striker should have enough chances to show what he knows.

like i said, origi is as good as tammy abraham, and the fact that he came to milan on bosman makes it even sweeter. lets just hope he wont get injured too often like before

I’ve wrote in other post about him. Imo he’s one of most underrated forwards in the game. Unfortunately he played in a team with one of best attacking trio. But Origi always delivered when coming into play, especially in big games. He’s still 27 tho. Adli is also doing great job and if he can carry this form into season we are quite covered up there. My concern however is lack of replacing Kessie. We really need some muscles and energy deeper in the midfield.
