Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara have their priorities set for the attack and they are ready to push.

After losing out on Sven Botman who joined Newcastle, Milan have changed their strategy for the summer mercato and after now focusing on important investments for the attack.

As reported by Milannews.it and others, after seeing their first €20m plus bonuses offer for Charles De Ketelaere rejected by Club Brugge, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are ready to increase.

Competition from Leeds United exists for CDK, but according to Kristof Terreur of HLN, despite the fact that the Premier League is ready to pay €35m plus bonuses, the player has no interest in accepting the destination as he wants Champions League football and prefers Milan.

The Diavolo, as stated in the Italian and the Belgian media, seem willing to raise their offer to 30m plus bonuses. Players could be included in the deal, as Emil Roback and Andreas Jungdal are of interest from Brugge. RadioRossonera reports that Jungdal has already expressed his availability for a move as he’s in search of more consistent minutes at the age of 20.

With the will of De Ketelaere on their side, it’s now up to Milan to come to an agreement with Club Brugge. Journalist Alexandre Braeckman even goes to saying that should Milan and Brugge not find an agreement, it’s possible that CDK will stay in Belgium for another season.

But CDK is not the only target for the attack. Hakim Ziyech of Chelsea continues to be of great interest and Milannews.it’s Pietro Mazzara claims that the Moroccan convinces everyone at Milan, from coach to management to club, for his technical, physical and personal attributes.

Chelsea have given signs of being open to sending Ziyech on loan and the deal can be closed if Milan agree to an obligation to buy. In which case the operation would be charged to the 2022/23 budget. The player is completely open to joining Milan and a deal with Chelsea needs to be struck.

MN claims that Real Madrid’s Marco Asensio is the alternative should the pursuit of Ziyech fail. Maldini and Massara are monitoring the situation of the player. However, at the moment Asensio seems unwilling to lower his salary request of €7 million per season.

There’s also an alternative to De Ketelaere, and Milannews.it claims that it’s Paulo Dybala. Milan requested information from his agent regarding the salary of the player. Right now La Joya is not not a priority for Milan, but should CDK not arrive and Dybala is still without a team (he is a free agent after ending his contract at Juventus) then the 29-year-old could become a real target.

The transfer market of Milan is completely alive and Maldini and Massara will try to get their targets.
