Hakim Ziyech is an objective of Milan, even if they bring Charles De Ketelaere, but Junior Messias is staying regardless.

After the renewals of Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara became official, they are now working to get new faces to the team of Stefano Pioli, who began pre-season preparations yesterday.

While an offer for Charles De Ketelaere has reportedly been launched, Hakim Ziyech of Chelsea remains a concrete target of the club for the summer.

According to Gianluca di Marzio on “Calciomercato-L’Originale” on Sky Sport, CDK does not exclude Ziyech. In fact, Milan are working with Chelsea to find the right formula for the operation, while the player’s approval and availability for the move has already been acquired.

While most reports have been talking about a loan with option to buy which can turn into an obligation under certain terms, Di Marzio says a permanent transfer should not be ruled out. Hakim, 29, has been struggling for minutes at Chelsea but Milan view him as a major upgrade for the role of the right winger, which was assumed by Alexis Saelemaekers and Junior Messias last year.

Speaking of Messias, Di Marzio expects that between Thursday and Friday, his buy-out will be official. Nicolò Schira reports that Milan will pay €3m to Crotone, and not €5.5m as agreed last year.
