Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara have put pen to paper and even if the official announcement has still not arrived, it is now confirmed.

After weeks of tension, rumours and negotiations behind the scenes, it is now finally behind us: Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara, the two architects behind the Rossoneri’s first Scudetto in 11 years, will stay as club directors.

The agreement was reached only about one hour before the end of their current contract.

Maldini and Massara have been going back and forth with the management over the details of their new contracts, as there have been differences between the sides (differences that are not believed to be of an economic nature) that had to be sorted out.

While Massara was interviewed today at Rimini at the event to kick off the summer transfer market, Maldini was at work for long hours with the lawyers. However, there’s a happy ending.

“Everything is sorted,” Maldini told reporters as he left Casa Milan earlier this evening. “We renewed at the last minute, but we did it. We are happy to be here and for the season. We are happy to program for an always-winning future. How will Milan be? Now let’s see, there is time. We started a bit late but we’ll make up for it. I’m very happy.”

The contracts have been signed but the official announcement will only arrive tomorrow morning. Now with the mercato officially open, Milan can finally start making their moves.

Firstly, thank god this is finally done and settled.

Its a very poor start for the new owners that this has been such a mess.
Unnecessary delay and time wasted while others have been making moves in the market.

From all known reports, we have a tiny budget to work with. I’m sure maldini and Massara will act with great creativity as always.

Forza Maldini!!!

Good news finally it’s rather late than never? I believe it was a tough one to crack but I pray we get the right players Maldini I belive with a little touch of his master peice he will deliver. But something remain unclear to me I don’t know how much is been given for this mercato for them to operate

Gbenga AJOSE

I’m glad to hear that both Maldini n Massara have agreed to led Milan to more success, just forget about delay I believe that every delay it’s a blessing…. Thanks again to Milan’s legend Maldini I strongly believe that while u are still in any of Milan’s Post.. sure, everythings would be working fine… Once a am grateful for being there for my real Milan team….

Mario

Great news!!

Next, sign viti and parisi from empoli for cash plus messias to improve the defence.

Then, focus all out on signing zaniolo for RW.

If there’s still money available, try signing frattesi or maggiore for midfield.

Make milan more italian please, m&m!!

Raven

Perfect! Now give him the tools he needs.

Raven

Theo, Kalulu, Kjaer, Tomori, Pioli, Tonalli, Leao, Giroud.

Like many legends said following Rino’s departure, Milan needs time.

agustinar

Good decision. Good start

Ted

First thing, extend with Leao and Bennacer. They seem hesitant. If so, sell this summer to bolster the budget.

Ted

Also, don’t know if he already has any agreement in place or maybe his demands are high but Corentino Tolisso is available on bosman and he would be perfect replacement for Kessie.

SJF

Hed be a great free signing!

If we got CDK for 30m or so, got Dybala for free and Zyech on loan we would have a pretty decent attack for a small budget.
Whatever happens, strengthening the attack is the priority

SJF

Also, signing some players with CL experience would be very helpful.
Last season the young lads looked like deer in the headlights on that first night in Liverpool

Ted

Indeed, these lads never played serious CL games apart from Ibra and Giroud so I don’t have high expectations on CL for now but they need to build on being serious Scudetto contenders every single season.

Abdul aziz

For let’s say 60 million budget plus player sales 5 million for ziyech loan deal 12 to 15 million for a central defender 15 for a defensive midfielder and 30 for cam maybe de ketelaere.

AC Milan

In Maldini we trust.

dan

The joke of the day is provided by ESPN Hahahahaha
These people are running out of ideas.

AC Milan are interested in landing Neymar, according to UOL Esporte. Amid reports that PSG would be prepared to allow the Brazil international to leave on loan if they cannot reach an agreement over a permanent move, the Rossoneri are hopeful that the Parc des Princes hierarchy would be willing to offer them a “goodwill” deal to make the move possible. The 30-year-old forward contributed to 19 goals in 22 Ligue 1 games last season.”

Ted

Not in a million years and frankly I don’t want to see that diving snowflake nowhere near AC Milan. Got to look after our reputation.

SJF

I couldn’t think of a worse role model for young players. No thanks

Ted

In other news, Dida is leaving the club stating it is due to personal matters. Hope it’s nothing bad or serious.

Anyway thanks Dida on your work with Maignan and wish you all the best.

Forza Admiral!

SJF

Indeed its a shame to see him leaving. Hes been a great servant of the club and an outstanding goalkeeping coach.
