Paolo Maldini will continue with Milan, according to the media in Italy.
Last week Maldini said that no one from RedBird or Elliott had sat down with him to discuss the renewal of his and Frederic Massara’s contracts.
However, the worries seem to now be a thing of the past. According to Milannews.it, after meeting Gerry Cardinale today at Casa Milan, Maldini is now on his way to getting his contract as Technical Director renewed.
Both Elliott and RedBird in their words and statements have confirmed that the management will stay the same; and so, Maldini, Massara and Geoffrey Moncada will all keep leading the sporting side. The budget of the Rossoneri is still unknown, and it remains to see what kind of mercato it’ll be.
Maldini’s renewal would be excellent news for the Milan fans as Paolo said that he will not be a part of a project that doesn’t have the Diavolo winning at the heart of it.
