Franck Kessié has said goodbye to Milan through social media.
Less than a year ago Kessié said “I want to stay forever“, but an agreement couldn’t be reached over his renewal due to the higher demands of his agent and so the midfielder leaves the club as a free agent.
Franck leaves Milan on a high note, helping the Rossoneri win their first Scudetto since 2011. Today, the midfielder, who is expected to join Barcelona, went on Instagram to say goodbye:
“After 5 years I couldn’t hope to end this great experience in a better way! A unique emotion: Siamo Campioni d’Italia! I’m proud to have worn this glorious shirt and to have shared this journey with fantastic teammates! Thanks for everything! Thanks to everyone! Your Presidente.”
With the departure of the 25-year-old, Milan are now “free” of the signings made in the summer of 2017 by the two incompetent directors Marco Fassone and Massimiliano Mirabelli.
